Oracle Quest - Tradeskill parts

Wished I had the insert pattern, but like most am stuck on Dartain the Lost, yeah, beginning of the quest


Anyway, anyone try

Stone Silk + Terrorantula Silk + Insert Pattern ?

Seems each step has required a rare or semi rare drop

Step 1: Sand of Ro (semi rare)
Step 2: Phase Spider Silk (semi rare)
Step 3: (Unknown)
Step 4: Heavy Clay (semi rare)
Step 5: Spiritual Anchor (rare)
Step 6: Vial of Vampire Blood (rare)

Terrorantula Silk seems kind of semi rare if you manage to make it spawn, I could be wrong, but worth a try

Does the Bind spell and enchant velium spells have a tradeskill tag on them right now?

If they do, then it's just a case of checking spells for the tags.

BTW - how much is the enchant velium spell costing - want to get an idea before I happily recomend to a buddy that he use this to work his smithing.

Actually if you look at the drops per step... it would be more like

Step 1: Sand of Ro (semi rare)
Step 2: Stone Silk (Semi rare)
Step 3: Heavy Clay (semi rare)
Step 4: Phase Spider Silk (semi rare)
Step 5: Spiritual Anchor (rare)
Step 6: Vial of Vampire Blood (rare), Precious Garnet (Semi rare)


As for the tradeskill tag, nearly every item used in recipes for this quest so far are not marked as Tradskill Components, unless they are used in a seperate recipe

Reviewed some of the findings so far. Perhaps try 4 silks in the combine with the pattern? There is a recipe to make a mesh for a quest in Skyshrine.

spells?

perhaps the word durrable refers to stamina. which would bring in a whole new line of spells to try out for the combine. maybe the shaman line of sta buffs or cleric or druid...might be worth a try.

you might also need an ichor of some sort. A good with which to work with the stonelike silk? Tho with all the camping being done on that spider i'd assume someone woulda seen a vial if he had it rarely.

seeing as there is that crappy firey temper for the +fire weapons, that are made in the sol dungeons i wonder if there could there be a similar recipe for a curing agent? or maybe just the fire imp blood for the making of such?

I was thinking that they may have added a new item that would be used to make the Stone Silk Durable and to this end I decided to play around in the magelo database looking at the item numbers and seeing if I could see an obvious connection:

As can be seen the new quest items seem to be grouped but there a few gaps in them, the most obvious being 55279, my guess on this would be that it was the combined item, however it could be another component.

55279 : the item needed to combine with the stone silks
55294 : The Phylactery

You are probably right on the Tunic and Phylactery, but 55279 will be the finished Insert.
