Well, the Magelo database is composed of items already found and updated on toons that use Magelo update...so if it hasn't been found (or created) yet, by someone using that program, it won't be listed.

One of those blank entries is probably "Durable Stone Silk"...the problem is, how do we make it durable? Too bad there don't seem to be any recently found mysterious items with unknown use in that range of #s, or that might have been a clue...

Okay, you receive the Clasp Mold from the assistant but a Hinge Mold is used in the recipe? I assume the original poster who discovered the recipe meant Clasp Mold, but would someone who's actually done the combine confirm either way?

An auspicious beginning. To reward your start, I will enlighten you with the secret of palatable mana, which is required to create a phylactery, but also has independent uses as well .

The Palatable Mana has really been bugging me. Specifically the text in bold. All these items have an effect listed on Lucy (20, 40, 60, 80, 100 mana pool increase) which leads me to believe that they are meant for players to use/sell. Then they toss in that text which seems to provide proof of my belief. Why bother adding a minor effect and then make it such a pain to get the sugar. Could this mean there is or will be a way to make the sugar? Could this mean they were sadistic enough to make some form of palatable mana as the missing ingredient in the insert?

Could this mean something important wasn't put into the game and just like frog cultural and SK spells, Sony thinks it's there and that we're the problem?

Regarding the stone silk. I was reviewing all the different methods used to make different pieces. Why does the durable stone silk pre-combine have to be tailoring? It could also be baking. Just an idea, while I work on getting the first part done.

Sadly my Tailoring is my last non GM skill but...

Durable Stone Silk.....what is the possibility of it being a Kiln Combine....would seem fitting for the nature of the product. Also We know mana vials have been used in Pottery combines before. Might be a route to examine?

Has anyone thought to try combining 5 stone silks much like the Coldain shawl quest ? Then perhaps we might need to provide a tannin, or perhaps nothin at all...

I may be reaching here. But what about the soulcase from the SK epic? It is a 2 slot combine box gotten from a SK off of Kerra Ilse in the Tox forest. Just a thought.

OMG. **** I wish I had an Insert Pattern to give it a shot.

People give it a shot and let me know what you find. Might be another Endure spell...might even be a stupid "Invigor" spell for all I know...but I think this might be the right track.
