Evergreen leaf used for dye may have a duel purpose....especially since it can be found as ground spawn in a zone that has Karana follwers (GFay). Again /shrug

I challenge you to find more then a handful of Karana Followers native to GFay.

Every Wood Elf Druid and Ranger is required by law to follow tunare.
Rogues follow Tunare or Bristlebane.
Warriors follow Tunare, Rallos Zek, or be Agnostic.
Bards can follow a variety of religions, including Veeshan.


So while it MIGHT be POSSIBLE that Warriors and/or Bards can worship Karana, I doubt it. I would have to make a Woodie to find out.

And technically, I think High Elf casters MIGHT be able to follow Karana.

But 99.999999% of Gfay follow the Hippie Mother, Tunare.

demo, all the other items involve using made /things from certain planes in progression, does it not make sense using your same logic that the glaze would in this case be perfect, being that it's the summation of all the planes and also the key to POTime, The rarity of use being that it goes into making another item of INSANE POWER also is in line with VI's tottal insanity in creating time sinks that they never bother to actually try and do themselves.....anyway until i have my earth glaze it's all conjecture, one possibility that I will try and narrow down, if not GG can use it when i get the rathes /power stone.

As far as /board rants go, save it for the rant room, this thread needs to be kept as concise as possible, If you feel you have personal slights to make don't.

Heartfruit walnut is a rare forage took about 30 mins to get 1. Great place to get Pheonix eggs tho!

Discovering The 7th Signet

I don't know the method of delving into the item database.. but here's the trend with the current signets:

db id - item name
16249 - hardened leather signet
16250 - clay signet
16251 - wooden signet
16252 - metal signet
16253 - marked signet
16254 - runed signet
16255 - presumably the 7th signet

signets were not in the item db that all this information was pulled from which is what leads me to believe the quest was incomplete at the time this database was created. The date on the db file is from september 2002 and was missing many pop items. According to the emulator site the database files were changed in september so that they could not be accessed and do what we are attempting to do now.

a. GM or reliable source says quest is completeable
b. GM or Niami or realiable source says no recipe source exists and we must guess it.
c. GM or Niami or reliable source says that reference to the female halfling cleric is Niami

Just curious. I see a lot of people referring to such information is valid but I want back through all the threads listed here and cannot find such posts. Maybe I missed them, it's certainly late enough at night that my reading comprehension is suffering, but would still like to have verification that such things exist. What's the source for this information?

For future reference, using <a href =http://mboards.eqtraders.com/phpBB2/search.php>Search</a> and narrowing down the area to one forum looking up "Niami Denmother" (and make sure you spell it right!) makes it very easy to check for such specific requests. Just make sure to also have it display as posts, and not topics.

I'm not talking about some emulator. The db numbers I posted are available on magelo. People were delving into database post-PoP release by hand crafting item links while in the game. I don't know how it's done, or I'd look myself. I'd like to know if it's going to be another Secrets of the Planes or not (ie, a big fat disappointment).

I think Justice Fruit might be the key, here is why:

I found the following using google to search for Palm oil:

"botanical name : Elaeis guineensis
part used – fruit
extraction – solvent."

Edit: Hmmm, considering the “Palm Leaf” and “Palm Leaf Oil” database items….maybe the Palm Leaf is a ground spawn, or rare drop/forage in Plane of Justice (thus the palm/justice connection)?
