Not sure if helps or not but for a while back when lived in PoM there were some foraged and drops of Super Sweet fising grubs as well as tasty candy and all. Just a few other items that may just have nothing to do with it but a posibility.

Crab Meat sticks out to me too...I have a few pieces to experiment with, just haven't had time.

And about fishing... you can only fish above water (so, only that tiny spot at zone in) and only things I've pulled up are the normal stuff (fish scales, fresh fish, etc) and Giant Snapper and Giant Halibut.

Yanno, I've read in multiple places that one of the next zone revamps we're going to see is PoMischief. They had already revamped it, but someone wasn't happy and sent them back the drawing board.

I'd be willing to bet the answer to step 7 is going to be in this new PoM.

Hourglass emblazened chitin

What runs through an hourglass? The sands of TIME. What's the last plane of PoP. TIME. Seems perhaps a logical ingredient. Sort of. Maybe.

Don't fret. The seru-bane recipe wasn't in game either when it was first completed. Maybe someone will "figure" this one out too.

Still around trying to figure it out too. SOOO annoyed at this point i ponder if its worth it even. There are already 140 hps/mana earings dropping and im sure time will have nice earings. Just getting on my nerves so bad. Anyways, could whoever knows how to work that emulator take a look at # 16255 and see if anything pops up? thanks

I think it's entirely likely as the PoM revamp was slated to be done shortly after PoP release and it's Bristlebane's Plane. Aside from revamping it, the plan was to move the zone in to a more accessible location too.

I wouldn't be limiting yourselves to looking only in PoP zones and looking at only PoP recipes. Several recipes in the quest thus far use items from previous expansions.

Just had a thought for the platter, being the board troll that I am

multielemental glaze
windy glazy, aqua glaze, earthen glaze, magma glaze glaze mortar magic, LORE, recommended level 65, wt 0.2, tiny, all/all,
recipe given by a slave in Plane of Tactics

This plus different combo's of molds+tanaan clay/imued with laquered peridot will more then likely = platter

only have 2 of the four glazes atm so will have to wait to try it out.
It was spelled out that the recipie wasn't in game but perhaps the <tottal> recipie isn't in game.

Am not sure but believe that glaze is used in making some container for the 4 items from the elemental gods. Probably for the Time key.

Back on topic though, the palm leaf needs to be found to give us some more information imo. I can't really imagine where it could be hidden unless it's either (a) not in game or (b) from PoTime =/
