Not sure if this was mentioned somewhere but when I completed the book turn ins, I was dubious to Oracle. Unless you are kos to them you should be able to get the token.

I've done the 6 book turn ins (I'd also like to confirm getting my Tome of Miragul from an ancient construct). I think it'd be wishful thinking to think I cna get a robe drop from Kael, or ToV anytime soon so I was wondering if the Grand robe can be MQ'd by someone else who has completed a velious quest robe or leather BP. If so, how would one go about doing it, because I have never done a MQ.

it apparntly does not work as i tried it today since i didnt want to camp a thurg robe either

the halfing just ate both items, when i petitioned a gm made it very clear that in general they will not reinburse items with multiquesting. I was lucky to get my token back at all

An Ancient Construct dropped the Book of Miragul for me today on Morell-Thule. Two An Old Construct didn't. The Ancient was in the building facing the tunnel that goes down to the undead tower.

On the eaten multiquest.. did you turn in a completed item or the bit that is made into armor?

a mage turned in a thurg robe (the armor not the quest piece to get the armor), then i turned in my token. halfing took both items didnt give anything back

Hmmmm.... wonder what oracle gives you now when you turn the robe/tunic in....maybe there's actually a melee chest now? Anyone feel like testing it out?

Would be curious to know if themage had also done all the book turn-ins, if the MQ (him MQ his robe for you) would have worked...maybe it's a matter of needing the proper 'flags'.

That way, if someone happened to have more than one robe, they might be able to MQ with another who also did teh 6 book turn-ins but didnt have a robe (or tunic.)

I am doing this quest primarily for the tradeskills. That said, I am a Ranger and was planning to MQ the seal to get a Grand Robe of the Oracle on my Enchanter. If it is not possible to MQ the seal and there is no tunic or robe reward for melees and hybrids, that will be one more thing to be unhappy about with a quest that looked very interesting to start out, but that has turned out to offer far more headaches than it is worth.

Aye...that would make it even more out of balance, at least with the MQ possibility melee's don't waste half the quest....casters get a new range plus a bp... melees only get the range, and can't even get the bp to a caster? bleh....hopefully the failed MQ was a one time thing, and not the new standard

I only posted my Multiquest report b/c i wanted to warn people that your risking your token of service and someone elses robe

It did not work for me and in adition to that the token i turned in wasnt even trackable by the gm after the fact. They had to try to find the token on a previous save for me. It could have been a fluke but like i said this is a risk. Chances are if your MQ fails your not going to get your items back
