New Oracle Quest

I am still not certain whether a druid can hand in a Plate BP or Chain BP or whether a Cleric can hand in a leather BP to finish this off. Has any wis caster turned in tunic that they could not actually wear?

Why wouldn't they be able to? This quest is for INT casters (who turn in their Velious Robes) and WIS casters (who turn in their Tunic / Chainmail / Breastplate). WIS casters get this:

Which, as you can see, is usable by all 3 WIS caster classes.

The question is if the other Classes get something as well (these being Warrior, Monk, Rogue, Paladin, Shadowknight, Ranger, Bard and Beastlord).

Well, the quest text specifies "robes" and "tunics" from the velious quest armors. The Velious quest robes were ENC WIZ MAG NEC, and the tunics MNK DRU BST. Clerics use the plate pattern, and shaman use the chain pattern, neither of which are robes or tunics. I doubt that many shaman or clerics are in possession of robe or tunic pattern quest items, so, unless the handin guy takes ALL types of velious quest armor, your average cleric and shaman is SOL

Got Tome of Miragul off second ancient we dropped.

Since I figured this would be broken for a while, I was slacking, still need sanguine tome, and after several hours both today and yesterday haven't seen him yet. Been killing the PH marked on the map several pages back, but no sign. Just chalking it up to bad luck for now, but sure hope he isn't broken now.

Partly right there. Clerics get a breastplate, but the Shaman get a chain tunic.

If you have screenshots, please post, so far as we know right now teh only Tunic received is a leather-look, no chain or plate.

Mae -- I think he means in Velious, Shamen get a chain tunic -- not as a result of the quest.

From the writeup:

As many people have noted, the Robe and Tunic are themselves bugged. The Flowing Thought effect should be an "Effect", not a "Focus Effect". Again, we'll have to wait and see whether this gets fixed in an upcoming patch.

Didn't see mention of this yet, appologies if this is a duplicate - the robe I just got via turn-in (yay!) now says just "Effect".

Oh, good news possibly for hybrids. When I got the Token today, the Assistant had added text. I unfortunately forgot to log it, but it was something to the degree of, "If you are unsatisfied with your reward, you may trade it in for something else". Now I know this might apply to changing it to a tunic to robe or vice versa, but I noticed it wasn't listed on KyrosKrane's site. If anyone finishes soon, could you get the text?

Oh, on a small note, the Jar of Laquer IS needed for the Blood Laquered Precious Garnet. I tried it without it and it DNC'd.

Confirmation. Cleric HOT BP (akkirus) + token = Tunic.

I'm not hosting SS's for it.

I destroyed the decorated box you get cause i had no room for a container and my inventory was completely full so couldnt even rearrange to make room for it. I hope there's a way to get another once I see if phylactery is worth doing besides collecting 6 books again.
