If possible, I need screen shots of the new Grand Tunic and Grand Robe of the Oracle, the Phylactery, the Dark Phylactery, and the Mana Crystals.

Until then, I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm whether the two Phylacteries and the Crystal are Lore, Magic, and No-Drop. Also, does the Phylactery have any AC, or is that only the Dark Phylactery?

Does the assistant have any text when you turn in the Phylactery? And is the reported text for the assistant on turning in the Dark Phylactery complete?

Guess this means you can do quest twice and get two phylacteries. Do Soul clasp and regen stack?

I was in channel when it was completed. From the links it seems that both Phylacteries are No Drop, but not Magic or Lore. The Crystals are all three, No Drop, Magic and Lore. Also, both Phylacteries have 10 AC if I'm not mistaken.

What are the stacking issues? This appears to be a form of lunar whispers which would be of significant value to the caster community....

According to Lucy's stacking data, the effect won't stack with:
Hp regen:
Breath of Tunare/Divine Purpose (Pal)
Xegony's Phantasmal Guard (Mag)
Aura of Battle (Clicky version)
Form of the Great Bear (Shm)

Mp regen:
Koadic's Heightened Focus (Emp robe)

Might also be other stacking issues with DoTs, but since Soul Clasp is instaclick, not really that big of a problem. Anyone who has one yet see anything else? I'm still waiting on a Firebone Notebook and the anchor...

Stacking issues

Yep there are some.

Wont stack with a Mage's Xegony, for example.

No illusion, either Lich or Skel form. That would have made it more the effort.

One good thing I found, it can be insta cast from inventory.

All in all, a bit disappointing given the work required.

The Robe/Tunic intermediate reward is worth it tho for many players.

I have a vague memory that some other quest reward had crappy stats at 1st, and then they changed it to something better when it was discovered and renamed it. Although the effect is nice, I know I won't be equipping it with all those neg stats.

So the regen on the dark one is an acutal buff slot regen? And not WORN regen like z-heart, etc.?

At the Fanfaire in Chicago, there were several contests being run by the folks at EQrpg in conjunction with the unveiling of this quest, with the Oracle quest rewards being given as the rewards for the contests. I asked which reward I should aim for as a beastlord and was told that the phylactory was the desireable quest result for melee/hybrids, with the robe/tunic being the better choice for int/wis casters. Right now the only support for that statement I'm finding is that melee/hybrids can't use the robes or tunics and are stuck with the phylactory/dark phylactory as their only option.

It is neat that the effect is clickable from inventory, but if the effect doesn't stack with my other more powerful regeneration spells (and I'm a beastlord here, not a druid or cleric) then this is kind of a useless reward for a class that needs their strength and stamina. I can buy an eye of griffon for 1-2k in the bazaar and get a 10 wis range item for tradeskilling.

My thought is that given the Assistant's message about 'performing one's own alterations' that perhaps via use of the mana crystals and the phylactory an upgraded version of the dark phylactory can be produced, with either a better effect or better stats, preferably both.
