Lewena's Drink and Brodder's Revenge, Summarized

Well, while I don't want a dead give-away, I would like a little bit more than we have been given currently.

A few hints here, a couple of suggestions there... you know.

Say, NPC A says "Oh, Lewana's drink? Hmmm... if I remember NPC B knew about it..."... NPC B sais something like "Well, I don't make the stuff, it comes from NPC C", that kind of thing. You get hints and stuff (like if it was DBDS it would be something like "Well, it was some dwarven brew, pretty potent too") but nothing that straight out that says "Lewana drinks X".

Could use a few pointers for Brodder's Revenge too...

he mentions hair of the dog that bit you several times....he mentions how tall folks never look down, but dwarves do....

a giant rat could appear to be a dog to someone who is short.

or

looking down could mean something that is picked up from the ground, he also mentions legumes (nuts) - misty acorn?

If I wouldn't eat it I'd not be to likely to drink it.
Dwarfs are not cannibals.
We do like pretzels, fried root chips covered in dried sea salt and spices, and a good meat pie...

So you can right out cut out stuff that's not in me original recipes or that I'd find distasteful as a big clue.

Oh okay I drank boot beer and skunk breath ale...but that was for the Mithril Mug o'Brell and flag of Kaladim and all that...you know brewing posterity!

Several of you seem to be right on track, then stop short...remember there can be subcombines and there can be upto 10 ingredients ala Minotaur hero brews...

But it may not be that many...or it may...

Der are subcombines- not necessarily in same skill set.
INgredients are common.
If it's a part of another humanoid, I wouldn't eat or drink it...
Ahm a dwarf ****it.
Skull ale if ye remember was a legend I'd heard of...and used brains of their enemies, but since brains were in short supply in Oggok...well the skull alone was used.

It's likely more then just 4 ingredients... see my other hints
too for more info.
Some of this is based off rebuilt notes...BUT know this SOE can and has changed recipes of mine before and quests...

Trick is to get lewena talking. She knows I'm sure.
After that it's not gonna be too tough.

don't break any agreements please. i jsut meant can you repost either what you can say is right/wrong as well as your hints say once a page or so to cut down on the length. and jsut for clarification do you mean common ingredients such as available from most any merchant or common as in jsut easy to get. i know i'm being a pain but i think i can figure it out if i don't ahve to search through 100s posts of wht doens't work :>

Fried root chips... I bet 'snack'. (Spices +) skewers(?) + Root (+ oil/dressing?) in oven... then maybe with the sea salt and spices in mixbowl... awful lot of subcombines tho. I mean, some is some, but some more can be too much.

just curious. was looking at the pretzel thing. if the quote is saying dorfs like pretzels and meat pies, what if the fried root chip is a description of how to make the pretzel? SOE has done odder thigns before. so how exactly would you dry salt?
