I'm not sure that there would be another connection to Thurgadin. We already have a connection there.

The bar that Lewena is at (Grimthor's Distillery) has the NPC Grimthor, which is the same name as the NPC at the Velium Keg in Thurg, one of the bars that sells KS Vodka.

There appears to be a connection to Ak'Anon that I haven't explored. There is the passed out gnome Slosean in SH ("a hungover bar dweller"). Also, Brodder has mentioned his diaries still in print.
The diaries continue to sell well, and still the gnomes refuse to reprint them in any language but the gnomish they used to improve on his original works.
Improved diaries? Did the gnomes recover page two with the BR recipe on it? I might see which of my alts has faction there and check around for any books or clues. The KS Vodka is available only in Thurg. Is there a drink only available in Ak'Anon that could fit?

Slosean is indeed near Lewena's bar
Near the lass it may be.
I think I may pay the little guy a visit and see if I can persuade him to talk

No no no you guys, it's Hamon (wholewheat) near Lewena. He says he's sick and to stay clear of his part of the balcony. Now THAT sounds like a hangover to me.

Ok, I don't know if this helps, but....

comparing Brodder's recipe's with Verant's implementation's of Brodder's recipes... we can see the following.

2x Brewed 2x Stout Dwarven Ale-- no changes except in name.

Frothy Frostbite-- name change, and "herb(pepperment/hot pepper" was replaced with "spices"

          Stormguard Rootbeer-- no changes

Rootbeer Float-- ice of velious changed to chunk of ice, icing changed to frosting

Egg Nog-- snake eggs changed to aviak eggs

Egg Nog XXX-- bottle added, spirit of some sort(brandy) is definitely brandy

Schnapps-- name changed for various types of schnapps, sweetener removed from recipe, wine yeast added, bottle added

Fizzlepop-- Soda stone replaced with soda water, bottle and berries simplied and changed into flask of fruit juice (although flask of berry juice would make more sense at this point)

That being said, Aviak Eggs just seem right, considering the change in Egg Nog. Also, why was Ice of Velious changed in Root Beer Float but not Frothy Frostbite? Did someone go in later and revamp some of these recipes?

I noticed also that the Frostbite had peppermint/hot pepper replaced with baking spices. Maybe this is the right path for the Brodder's Revenge or maybe not, looking at the changes between Root Beer Float and Frothy Frostbite. Although baking spices or an alchemy component seem to be the only two that make sense now, despite my still obsession with fire water as a component.

Please feel free to add any input. This seemed like the only logical road to take at this point... comparing tenative recipes with the final one. That being said I'll repeat the Brodder's Revenge Recipe that was first released by Mr. Foamy Muggs

Mug Ale, Shot Scotch/Whiskey, Veggies, Snake Egg

I think we need a sort of ale, a shot of alcohol PLUS vodka OR vodka is replacing both the veggies and the shot scotch (like the fizzlepop), and Aviak Eggs instead of Snake Eggs. Probably some sort of container too, unless the container is a mug (which would explain Brodder's reference to mugs lying about).

How about Thubr's Darkened Ale as the ale, since it requires a ground spawn from Kaladim, (ale + foraging + Dwarven nostalgia hints)?

What I meant was, has it been tried as part of Brodder's Revenge combines? I didn't see it in This thread As part of the attempted combines. If it has been tried, but not in that thread, I'm sorry

Has anyone tried giving either Hamon or Slosean a plain ole' Regurgitonic?

Has anyone tried the new "caynar nut brown ale" as part of this? would classify as a "new ale" involving a nut.

                        ok Brodder said:

My bags are full, and halflings distracted...
                        Jumjum I'd never consume
Nor the juice of a legume...
But with vodka, and egg and spices concoted...
YOur revenge might be cured after all...

Is it possible that Jumjum Juice may be needed for his revenge? The only place I recall seeing it was the Lost Turnip in Shadowhaven.

could it be Jumjum Juice + Vodka + Aviak Egg + Spices?

Also plain "ale" has a mug graphic.

Brooder posted a reply that must have gotten eaten by the board changes today...

Actually, he posted that over in the DNC thread.

Oy vey. I just noticed that the formatting in the first post got shot to hell and back in the boards transfer. I don't have time to fix it now; I'm about to leave for a month of vacation time. I'll try and edit it later, but no promises. If any of the board mods feel up to the task, you're welcome to dive in and make it more readable.

Also what "IF" it isn't a combine at all. What if you give the ingredients to the drunk gnome and he fixes his own hangover.
