Not sure if these were ever mentioned but I came across it and thought I might throw it out there. Possibly these were created recently but who knows.
The part concerning 1 list called for vegies and 1 for fruit got me to thinking what a dwarf might do rather then get the actual items perhapse he might get the brewed versions because brewing makes everything better in a dwarfs eyes right? I'm not a dwarf so maybe I'm wrong here. Kalish didn't seem to be getting anywhere so I looked and found Fruit Juice and vegetable oil. Some quick combines didn't yeild results and i've not had time to try a grind on them yet.

I very much doubt it is seaweed vinegar as I doubt Ogres even are aware of it's existance. I think it's just plain ol' vinegar.

I do agree that it suggests that it may be pickled.

So in analyzing it deeper, im guessing that we have 3, and possibly 4 ingredients for the first combine.
(1) dragon fruit (calling it that for now)
(2) vingegar
(3) vegetables, and/or fruit (here im thinking its possibly both, or 2 combines one of each)
(4) Now, seeing that he says a dwarf could capture best the firey loot. My guess is that our combine will BE the firey loot. Why does he say a dwarf can do it best? Maybe it something unique to dwarves, or in their homeland. Limestone maybe?

Then combine that in with sea salt in a cask..

Now, its also possible that the dragon fruit doesnt even exist, and is not an ingredient. Maybe try fruit,vegetables,vingegar, and limestone to get the firey loot. (I say limestone because lime is an actual ingredient of hotsauce, and only found in Kaladim. Yeah i know its a different lime, but hey =p)

So...ignore my item #3 above, our ingredient has to be a fruit-vegetable. Pepper, avocado, cucumber, tomato or zuchini etc.

Qutie, I had the same thought, but unfortunately it's not an easy task to dig through the some 60,000 items in the current list when you don't have some idea of what the name may be to begin with. Some things I have found that look like good candidates:

20400 Ogre Marinade

Ogre Marinade remains the best candidate in my mind, it falls at the end of a list of baking items and is a good match for Brodder's 'Ogre's favorite juice' line. I'd put my bet that this is it.

9728 Burned Offering

In the Earring of the Solstice section, probably meant to be some sort of subcombine before the reward of the earring and spell. Could be our hot sauce though.

19191 Burning Skull

This is in the section with the ales from the Brodder's Diaries, and is another good candidate. I think though this was the original Skull Ale (before the current version was found) and my thinking is supported by the defunct version of Gruppa's Poppin Ale found nearby at 19196.

Those are the good candidates, from here on it gets sketchy.

On the subject of pickled items, there are lots of items on the lists that aren't in the lucy database. Lucy lists 26 pickled meat items, EQtraders has 2 more in the database and the list adds another 7 to that. None of the known pickled items are tradeskill flagged.
