Was going to do similar but haven't had time recently, thank you for making the extra effort Feona! Hopefully seeing them all in one place will give us insight as to what we missed
1- If I (brodder) wouldn't eat it or drink it...it's not likely to be in any recipe I'd invent or make up-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2- Dwarfs are not cannibals, we do not eat anything made from other intelligent humanoids. 3- No JUMJUM ever!!
Yes I am He!
EQ's Very own Beer God!
The Vicar of Liquor! Baron in a Barrel!
The Priest of Yeast! Wielder of Brell's BattleMug
Maybe or just telling me to stop wasting my time with fire giant toes.
But apparently we have enough data or so he thinks because he hasn't said much new stuff just re-quoting himself in attempt to keep us on track.
I think the ro-date as was mentioned earlier might have some merit or possibly the garlic as we dont even know if we should be wasting time with habenaros still. That would be nice to know. I'll probably grind more on it later.
So basically the only thing we can all agree on is most likely that one of the liquids envolved is Vinegar.
The no foraging aspect might shine some light on the bit about '1 list called for vegies and 1 for fruit but a dwarf found a better substitute' but not sure what unless its kalish because i can see how a dwarf would think a brewed version of both would be better then 1 or the other.
I'd have to agree on the dwarf not being able to eat a stone fruit.
I've given up doing combines. The factor that only a dwarf may be able to make this item discourages me. I'd make a dwarf to try things out but I don't have any available character creation thingies left since I have 101 mules for all my TS junk. Good luck!
Itzena Alhazared, Revenant of {Planeteers}, Vallon Zek. And also a seamstress. Gelcea Macha, Wandering Animist of Tarew Marr. Will be a smith, one day.
"If it cannot hatch from it's shell, the chick will die without ever truly being born. We are the chick; the world is our egg. If we don't break the world's shell, we will die without truly being born. Smash the world's shell, for the Revolution of the World."
I don't think brodder ever meant this was a cultural recipe, maybe some ale would be dwarven cultural(although it's not currently possible as the game stands) but this is hot sauce....
Im not sure if it's Berries or Fruit (the foraged kinds) but one of them is actually a groundspawn in Misty Thicket. Maybe it is used? It would go along with the "No foraging"
Maybe we should make a list of everything in the game with a flag that could be mistake for a vegi or fruit. I know the idea of tomatoe was mentioned a while back on this thread but does anyone know if one is in game? Or anything that a dwarf might substitue for vegies and fruit.
