There's already been a pottery step and all, but we are talking about "lining" the inside of something...perhaps a ceramic lining sketch? I would assume still in a tailoring kit, but it would give the "form" we're needing

Crystalline Silks are used to make Thurg potions, so perhaps this is a pottery combine requirng Stone Silks, S/M/L jar sketch, and maybe clay or something else.

Basilisk Hide was a good idea, but looks like it's not our answer. It's DNC with the insert pattern and 1-4 silks... I'll farm another one but I'm not hopeful.

I just did a cursory browse, and comparing their "Before Green" with the copy of "Before Green" screenshots I have, they look identical. The paragraph breaks in the Bhur version are non-existant in the EQ version, but the content is the same. Hopefully the rest of the entries are similar (ie actual in-EQ-texts), but its no guarentee.

Kanad you may want to try combining the basilisk hide with just the silks, without the insert pattern. Possible that the combine is to make 'Durable Stone Silk' which you then combine with the pattern.

What tradeskills use patterns?

Tailoring and Chain smithing right?

Pottery uses Sketches, other smithing uses molds.


I'm probably as far off base as most other bizaar suggestions, but maybe try this chain smithing style.

Tailoring has been beaten to death IMO.

I know that spells with "stone" or "rock" were used, but what about other spells that would complement the stone silk?

Reclaim Energy (to hold the "energies")
Enduring Breath ("durable" stone silk)
Endurance of the Boar (same as above)


I know it's grasping at straws, but it's worth a shot.

I had suggested reclaim energy a while back and someone claimed it did not work.

I tried Endurance of the Boar, though it is a parchment spell, L 62 to be exact, and Reclaim energy with and without: vials of mana, silver, gold, platinum threads, hammer, embroidering needle, container base molds, 1 - 4 stone silks. This was tried in a forge as well as a kiln as well as a coldain tanner's kit as well as a collapsible sewing kit.

You are welcome to try anything I have said is DNC, friends. Just don't let this quest get to you like it's getting to me.

Furthermore, this quest went live one patch before this new zone went live. It'd be a bit wacky if the quest would call for an item from a zone that wasn't live yet.

If it were me designing the quest, I'd put that ole Unopenable Box in a combine there somewhere, like as part of the philactory lining.

But I definitely do not think like Sony, as my many failures to solve quests has shown.

You know Agathar, I thought of that too... but I can't imagine they'd do that to us again. This quest requires no flags, and only 1 item from PoP thus far. Requiring an Earthweave Curing Agent would be the ultimate slap in the face to all of us working so hard on solving it.

Toneth, check pg 12... Daeguard had already tried combining without the insert pattern. I did too, I just didn't repost it again.

I think we are just missing the obivous, none of this other stuff was mentioned by the assistant so i dont think its gunna be anything like that

I am just gunna farm 9 stone silks and try that plus the pattern
