A couple more notes:

All arrow final combines had a yield of 10.

Of the arrow subcombines, only the Blessed Steel Arrowheads consumed the file on combine.

Assuming you have the fletching kit and knife already, the cost per combine of the "Steel Guardian Arrow"s is 34.0345pp (35.826pp average with 5% failure rate).

I can confirm that the "I need a Mark" text is deity restricted. As a half-elven Tunare worshipper, I was told something along the lines of "How dare you pretend to be something you're not!"

OK caught up to here, for everything EXCEPT the Arrows.

One more thing. The sellback on all of the fletching components (arrowshafts, fletch, arrowheads) was 4pp with Ally faction and approx 80 CHA.

Normal, plain arrowheads (Made with a Small brick of steel, file, and water, and the mark) sell for exactly 4p7g with 110 CHA.

Faction was indifferent or better, and it was on patch day, on an emptyish vendor.

Successfully made Steel Bits with a smithing skill of 177 and received message that I could no longer advance my skill.

Successfully made Surefall Fletching Kit with a smithing skill of 179 and received message that I could no longer advance my skill.

Successfully made Imbued Plains Pebble Shards with a smithing skill of 177 and received message that I could no longer advance my skill.

Successfully made Blessed Steel Arrowheads and got skill up to 188 on that combine.

Also, it appears Steel Arrowheads are in the database twice For me, these regular arrowheads (NOT the blessed ones) sold to NPC vendor for 4p 7g 6s 2c and when I check the buyback price, he wanted 15p 7g 4s 9c.

OK added the 6 types of arrows:

Steel Hunter Arrows (3 types, different damage and range based on size of Nock)

Blessed Hunter Arrows (Large Nock)
Blessed Phalanx Arrows (Medium Nock)
Blessed Guardian Arrows (Small Nock)

I believe I have all the items and recipes reported so far... And re-used the one duplicate mentioned. Did I miss anything else?

In my haste I said all three of the steel arrows are "Steel Hunter Arrows"

That is incorrect, they are Steel Hunter Arrows, Steel Phalanx Arrows, and Steel Guardian Arrows depending on the nock, just like the Blessed ones are.

The Steel Guardian Arrows are trivial at exactly 249.

I will be going back and editting my post so that others don't think they are all steel hunter arrows.

Blessed arrowheads

ok, I have read all of these threads a few times and am not sure what I am doing wrong, I tried without success to make the blessed version of the arrowheads and could not get past the you cannot combine these items in this container msg. I tried to combine in a regular forge every combination of shard, metal bit, file, water flask and mark of Karana I could think of, even tried it with a previously made regular arrowhead. <sigh> Could someone please post the recipe again? I was starting to think that sony killed the blessed arrowheads because of the file disappearing on success and would fix it with the patch last night. I do not se anyone else with the same problems so it must be the nut behind the wheel

As a bit of input my smithing was 116 when I first attemped the flethcing kit. success first try with a skill up! YEAH!

Steel working kinfe also succes first try and a skill up again!

Fletch was trivial at 118,

Arow heads and shafts were not, with str and dex at 255 thanks to a guildie Shaman I figure I was suceeding about 60% with 3 runs to surefall for steel I got my smithing up to 136, only succeeded on final arrow combine 3 times though with fletching at 217. OUCH! not a single skill up either on about a stack worth of attempts. I forgot geerlock tool in the bank in my excitement though so maybe I can do better.

Gonna try a few of the bows now, lol I sold 7 stacks of sylvan oak to a vendor the day before patch day trying to make room on an alt that could not move it in the bazaar! lol really kicking myself now!!
