So, they let karana half elves make special stuff but us TUNARE HALF ELVES are still $#(& outta luck? cant they change the wood elf cultural stuff to require "Mark of Faydark" or something and only let tunarians get it? How about have every character flagged with thier home town and only let people who started in that town get it... like "wood elf cultural" will be able to be gotten by all the half elves that started in kelethin as well as the wood elves... and half elves that started in freeport can make freeport stuff... or half elves in qeynos etc. Meh... sorry about the rant

Steel arrow shafts and heads were trival at 188 in smithing and where not at 186. Steel arrow fletching trival is less than or equal to 186. Blessed Guardian Arrows are not trival at 249 in fletching as well as the non diety version.

I just did a few combines on the Blessed Guardian Arrows.

10 combines, 7 successes at 250+ trophy, not trivial

To make the Steel Working Knife you will need the Mark also, seems to be required for all the steps. The arrow combines also require the Mark.

          Yield Infos -

Imbued Planes Pebble shard is 4, consumes the file.

Steel Arrow Shaft, Arrow Head, Fletching is 2 per

As a halfing druid (worshipper of Karana) I may have no use for bows and arrows, but I am a tradeskiller, so I took some time to fill in some blanks here. I may work on the actual fletching later, but for now, I tried only the smithed components listed in this thread. All of the smithing combines were trivial at 188.

The recipe for Blessed Steel Arrowheads is wrong. It should include a Mark of Karana.

The Steel Arrowheads recipe will yield 2. Steel Arrowshafts yield 2. Steel Fletch yield 2. Imbied Plains Pebble Shard yield 4. Blessed Steel Arrowheads yield 2. The other recipes listed under "Smithed" only yield 1, including Steel Bits.

As far as I can see, this thread lacks four items from the smithing part of these new fletching recipes. The four items are:

            Steel Bits
            MAGIC ITEM
            WT: 0.1 Size: TINY
            Class: WAR PAL RNG ROG
            Race: ALL

            Steel Arrowheads
            MAGIC ITEM
            WT: 0.1 Size: SMALL
            Class: WAR PAL RNG ROG
            Race: ALL
            Deity: Karana

            Imbued Plains Pebble Shard
            MAGIC ITEM NO DROP
            WT: 0.1 Size: LARGE
            Class: WAR PAL RNG ROG
            Race: ALL
            Deity: Karana

            Blessed Steel Arrowheads
            WT: 0.1 Size SMALL
            Class: WAR PAL RNG ROG
            Race: ALL
            Deity: Karana

I noticed that the Steel Bits and the Imbued Plains Pebble Shard combines did not require a Mark of Karana. I believe these combines are not deity restricted although there is no point in making them unless you worship Karana, especially the shards, because they are no drop.

While at least 6 of the 9 recipes I tested are deity restricted, it is interesting to note that the combines are not restricted to the classes that can use the arrows. It was nice that being a druid did not limit me from trying out these Karana deity specific tradeskill combines.

              marks

yes marks are no drop and not lore but you only need 1 and can only get them if you worship karana.

Are any of the fletching combines able to be done by non-karana worshipers for skill up purposes only?

Fletching Kit and the Steel arrowheads were not trival at 112.

The Steel Arrowshafts, Steel Fletches, and the Steel knife were all trivial at 112.

Needs to be combined in the Surefall flatching kit, which is No Drop and needs to be made with the Mark of Karana which is also no drop and only able to be obtained by Karana worshipers.

                    So, no. Only Karana combinable.

It appears that the bows at least are identical to the Tunare bows in stats.

The Blessed Gale Compound bow that I made (and then gave to a very happy lvl 2 halfling ranger) had the exact same dmg/dly and stats as the Blessed Faydark Stinger.

                            Both were 20/60 with +5str and +5wis
