  • Hell hath frozen over...

    Upcoming for August 6th, 2003
It's been a little hectic around here lately, with all the Live, Legends and expansion work going on. We're busy in that good way, where you get a lot done every day but tomorrow there's just as much to do.

    Blah blah...

New fletching recipes will be added. We're adding a few new fletching recipes. The resultant items will only be usable by Rangers that worship Karana, and will be comparable to their Tunare counterparts.

    Blah blah...

"This Ranger has seen things you humans could never imagine..people waiting 45 minutes for a boat..casters medding with their nose in a book..and all this will be lost, like bards swarmkiting..it's time..to camp."

      Yay!!!!!!

I'm interested in seeing how they implement these recipes to see how close it is to the suggestions we've made on these borads in the past.

I wonder if this will add in as fletching cultural for humans or halflings...it would be kinda dumb IMO to add it to wood elf.

Cultural fletching shouldnt' be cultural, it should be ranger class restricted. Not that that's likely to happen at this point....

                half elfs

Now what would really be interesting is if this will only apply to karana halfings and humans

To have a cultural (even if it is fletching ) has a karana half elf would be wonderful

lol but im sure we wont

Alright, servers are up, someone spill the beans (for those of us at work) about which race got the new fletching or is it class restricted only? Recipies?

There's gonna be a dozen new threads once people CAN get on the servers, might as well start this one going.

In theory, recipes should be available now.

The differences between the two otherwise are which race can worship which deity. Some races may be able to choose either diety.

There are some quests out there that are deity specific, the ones I can think of off hand are Tunare restricted.

There are some cultural armors that are deity restricted you can look them up on the main site here to see what, if any you can wear depending on your deity choice.

So my questions still are, who can fletch this stuff, any word from test on trivials, and where do Mark of Karanas come from?

And thanks Chase for the info.

I'm wondering if the Surefall fletching kit and smithed parts are human cultural smithing like the fier'dal fletching kit and mithril working knife are?
