In the main Lewena thread, Brodder suggested that we're getting WAY off base and reading too much into his text. In addition, there has been tons of commentary and experimentation that makes it hard to find relevant info. In this post, I'll attempt to collate and organize the most important info. I'm leaving out most of the speculation and all of the attempted ingredients and combines in the hopes that a fresh look, without the prejudice induced by past attempts, may give us a better perspective on this puzzle.
Yes, this is a monster post. Consider yourself warned.

Background:
The Quest: In Grimthor's, an upstairs bar in Shadow Haven, you'll find a wood elf girl named Lewena. When hailing her, she says she'll tell you a secret if you buy her her favorite drink. If you ask what the secret is, she basically says, never mind that, just get my drink. (I'll try and find the actual quest text later.)
The Clue-Giver: Brodder FoamyMugs, author of the Brewing Diaries, is one of the people who created the bulk of the alcoholic (and some non-alcoholic) brewing recipes in the game. (Note that he was a player who had a good relationship with the developers; to the best of our knowledge, he doesn't and didn't work for Verant or Sony.) He wrote his recipe ideas just before and during the release of Kunark; those recipes that made it into the game went live just before Velious was released. According to him, his original suggestions were modified by then-Verant to fit the game. Some of his recipes went live, some didn't. Many of his recipes were published in game as Pages from Brodder's Diaries, but oddly, page two was never published in game. In addition, it has been confirmed that some of Brodder's recipes (such as the Frothy Frostbite) are live in the game even though they aren't referenced by any in-game books or text -- at least, not directly.

Edited 2003-07-16 to remove Kandrak's repost of Brodder's original, since Brodder has copy/pasted his actual post (and more) from the Cleric posts below.
(Kyros' notes: All the recipes on this second list (found below in Brodder's post) except Brodder's Revenge are now confirmed live in some form or another. Most were published in the Pages of Brodder's Diaries mentioned above. The "Frostbite" was recently discovered in the game as a "Frothy Frostbite", though there is no known source in the game for the recipe -- only what Brodder put in his Web postings. Brodder has confirmed that the recipe for Brodder's Revenge is live, but as yet, we have not converted his original version above to in-game ingredients. It's unknown whether Brodder's Revenge is the drink Lewena seeks, or whether it's unrelated.)

Test of Hate Brewing quest for Dark Elfs/High Elf Discover the SPY Quest...A Pixie based faydwer special brew... yes that's the first of my missing Diaries.
Brodder's Revenge- or Hair of the Dwarf that bit you. (My Emphasis)
Red Hot Vodka- Hot spices, Vodka.
Hot Toddy- Rum, Cider/Tea, Cinamon stick, piece of butter, icing(sweetner)
Gnomish Pirate Grog (Catbik Tinkerton's Cureall)- recipe may have been too funny and risque for EQ...think I made the devs I sent it to spew coffee and mt dew on their computers...
ROK recipes... Iksar Salts- blood, salt, brewing stuffs, makes a chunky, frothy salty beverage that can act like a meal for a shedding iksar- promotes good scale and teeth growth-replacement.
Druid Vision Broth- mushrooms...plants...leaves...pixie dust...fruit juice...some mana...uhoh...maybe a quart of minobrew might have been better...
Ogre Bean beer...explosive...and source of ogre humor...barbarians and gnomes find it funny too...well the gnomes do unless they're behind a Barb or ogre drinking this...
