Unfortunatly, this thread seems to have reached a point where folks are starting to repeat prior posters because they didn't read the entire thread...
Anyway, this is one of my biggest peeves about EQ. Sony has routinely complained about the number of spoiler sites on the web and then they go and put in quests that are IMPOSSIBLE to do without the comunity that these sites create. There simply is not enough in-game info here to even start to legitamately complete this, or even to start it... I think it is a sad state of affairs that we are pretty much dangling here on hints and riddles dropped by someone who isn't even on the dev team... No offence intended Brodder. I just simply wish there was even a smidge of in-game material here...Slippyblade of Xev

And the sad thing is, the result of the quest...
Lewena says: Thank you Slippyblade, I love the New Ale you have brought me!!
You recieve 1 platinum piece.
You recieve 7 silver pieces.
Your standing with House of Stout got better!
Just guessing here though.Slippyblade of Xev

Minor point (discovered last night when I made a Frothy Frostbite due to a) getting an Ice of Vellious when farming CC spiders and b) boredom):
The Frothy Frostbite does not have a tradeskill tag.
Now, it might just be an oversight...or it might not.Itzena Alhazared, Revenant of {Planeteers}, Vallon Zek. And also a seamstress.

I'm glad you posted that. I've been meaning to ask here for nearly a week if the FF was tagged as a tradeskill item and too lazy to make one myself to see. That pretty much rules it out as one of the components.
I have faith that the majority (if not all) of the tradeskill tags are correct considering how easy it would be to correctly flag them. In fact, I bet they have always been flagged, but the flag was never displayed, just like the damage bonus on weapons.
