Are there any others on CT that have this earring? I know myself and Ztalten both have th earring. Just curious of how many sick and twisted people there are playing CT. Player_001 tells you: How the hell did you get all those skills so high without sliting your wrists? That was an actual tell hehe.

As far as I know in CC sehria is our only one with the earring.

Angturil and my self are at various steps along the way. Personally I have the 3rd earring finished and need to get a few more levels of new taanan and finish up my tayloring (yeah 199 now) pottery and fletching skills to progress further.

I beleive angturil is done with all his skills and just needs to do the bow combine to finish his earring off but not sure off hand on that.

We've got various others working towards it but still a fair ways away as far as trade skills needed.

No clue on the ss/da side of things or anyone leftovers from eod etc.

I am probably furthest along for DA. Finished with pottery step and working tailoring atm (stuck at 198 right now :? ).
No luck so far finding anything usefull in PoW for the baking step either. REALLY hoping for a clue to get dropped in game on this as there are just way to many possible combines to get it by luck.

Tailoring combine seems to be the hardest of them all so far since we dont have information on the last one. I'm trying to get tailoring close to 250 before i even give it a try.

I failed 3 times with 250 (modified) skill on the tailoring part. It was rather painful and the stupid thing eats your emblem of fire on failure too. It's worth the effort though. Honestly, I'd rather fail a few times at the 5th one than have to fail a bunch at the 6th. Bow parts are a bit harder to come by unless you live in Air. Have yet to see what the 7th will be like *shudder*.

I made Smithing, Brewing, JC and Fletching on first try, Pottery on 2nd but the Tailoring took me like 4 tries as well, I had 250 smithing, brewing and jc but 240 pottery and 220 fletching and tailoring so I am guessing either the tailoring portion trivials higher or we just have bad luck.

The emblem is not a problem really, cause the mephits are at the zone-line so it's easy to scrounge up a blood and a brick of ore. It's not a pain like in PoE for example.

Succeeded on first try on all except Fletching and Tailoring. Fletching was 2nd try at 250 skill. Tailoring was 2nd try at 218 skill with geerlok.

Well... my guild was first into the elementals on my server and, while we don't have any 1750s, we have a GM in every tradeskill so the drops are all given to the right person in the guild. The next 2 guilds that followed us are obviously less interested in tradeskills, as I've seen plenty of elemental drops for sale in the bazaar. Some people would obviously rather get some quick cash than put the effort into tradeskills to get the nice items they yield.

So I think someone without elemental access does have a chance to get this stuff if they have enough money and patience. The bits for the bow aren't the rarest, really: they drop in large quantities if you farm Xegony and the dust/wind avatars. IMO the saps for the robe are the most trouble as you'll only find them (very rarely) while exping in the zone field in Fire, and there are many better places for exp tbh.

I think I have failed every step except the pottery one at least once. (I have done thru fletching twice).

I do not think the trivials are different for the different stages, or at least I have not seen any conclusive data to that effect. So far, everything could be attributed to a small sample size and people expecting the later stages to be harder.

I would agree, the tailoring part is the hardest to come by.

I'm on CT but will likely never have access to this earring due to being in a small guild. I'll just cheer you all on from the sidelines

Another item came to my attention, especially since I always wondered why I have seen Silvery and Platinum Spoons but never a Gold one...the item is a Golden Cup. Just something else to add to the list of things in the mix as it were...

btw - if any of you big guilds on CT wouldn't mind a 62 Druid tagging along for flags just let me know
