Don't have any digested palm but would suggest trying the usual combines
celestial essence + item
celestial essence + water + item
Celestial essence + purified water + item
Celestial solvent + item
(smithing acid) + item
vinegar + item etc etc etc
in a mortar
mixing bowl
brew barrel
kiln etc etc etc
no one actually knows if karana salad is a part of this quest, but then again we dont' know anything do we?

to me it just makes sense, all those combines people have tried and no one has got it? makes me think we dont have the right ingrediant yet

this is a rediculously hard quest as it would be rediculously hard to get into time.

no, from what I understand from dev regulated posts there is no time drop this is a lower elemental plane quest......and they have said repetedly that there is no dropped recipie, hoping for time is like hoping for them to finish time and make ponb not so bloody hard as it is to stop us from entering a zone that doesn't exist yet.

And yeah, honestly I would hope that the quest would continue to Time using the Councilman (after all, the quests are all supposed to lead to the councilpeople from what I heard).

I will try some combines with the digested night palm to see if I can come up with anything tonight.

a "lower lever"tier quest????

i don't know about you but i wouldn't consider plane of air or plane of fire a "lower elemental" plane.

you need drops from both of these zone for this quest, no reason to not consider a drop from Plane of Time or another High level plane
also i see alot of hearsay, i don't see any posts from any of the devs stating these accusations. a lot of people have said soandso said. well id like to see the posts of these, hence proof. as far as im concerned it's just what someone "thinks"

Well after talking to kylt the other day and talking about the digested palm leaves in Hollowshade, took my bard there to forage around figured if there eating it it might be ground spawn or foraged. Did find a ground spawn for Hollow Palm Roots loc is neg 1291, pos 1986 not sure if these are it either still running around HSM atm.

A reason

I think a logical reason to disregard that the Plane of Time is not involved in the 7th step would be because Aid Grimel never told us that it required us to go there. I think it would just be plain stupid for them to make the quest text stating that there is a rare component in Water, but not mention going back in Time for a rare component that only existed within that period. But hey, sometimes you never know.

nother thing that I have been wondering, When we do Corny baby as I flondly love to call him, we usually just swim on by fishlord, has anyone done the full /caller type sequence with fishlord krizak<sp> and if so do you have first hand knowledge of any uncommon drops......after touring around POW to find that rare component this is all I can think of atm....everything else is a hella lotta dnc.

We did that thing for like 3 or 4 hours one night(the Anglerfish side, there's a kraken side as well) and only got an Abalone Earring from it the entire time(cleric only, casts Sunskin I think).

Okay... I'm the guildbanker for Malus Imperium on TP and all drops go to me or my mules.

We've been doing PoW for a few months now and we had something that has never dropped for us drop last night. (Was a good night cause we took down Corniav also) The mob at the bottom of the drop from Wise room tunnels was a Krakenn... It dropped Krakenn Meat, this is the same mob that has dropped the 2 eye's we've gotten from PoW.

I'm assuming that this is our rare missing ingreidiant. We have 2 ppl close to the skills for this quest and one of them will begin experimenting on this next week.

I've like 3 of those in my bank I think and have tried experimentation with them as well though nothing worked, am open to suggestions if someone wants me to try something with my kraken meat.

Kraken Meat is uncommon but not rare. I have a bag or so floating around and have yet to find any combine for it.

starting a new thread for dnc's will update the thread using headings for the baking implements used as well as the type of meat forage what have you, if nothing else it will convince VI of the utter immorality that they have presented us with.
