I am thirteen Beek Guinders turnins past the point where I became indifferent to Priests of Mischief now. This faction is not much fun to raise because hunting stacks of black wolf skins takes a long time, and people virtually never save them. The servers going up and down is leaving me only to find a few at a time when I go and check all the vendors in all the zones where they drop.

I figure it's worth giving this faction a shot since it is incredibly rare to find someone who has it up high, and thus its one of the few obvious but still (as far as I know) untested avenues. We've picked PoWater apart. I'm sure many people have gone over it with a shrouded rogue like I did. We've hit PoK, RV, and Shadowhaven... Naturally, we might have missed something, but one thing I suspect almost all of us have in common is that our Priests of Mischief faction sucks, since there is only one way to raise it. Until I pick apart Rivervale with my runed signet, party platter bag, level, faction, and flaggage, I won't feel comfortable that it's been exhausted as a possibility.

Oh well! Back to hunting wolves and trying not to think about the fact that the quest may not be implemented past part 6 yet.

Regarding fish scales: I'm not sure if it can happen in all zones, but as long as I can remember while fishing I've caught fish scales with both messages.

I guess, maybe, they have fish scales on the fishing table for most or all zones, as well as on the table of items you catch when you catch a "something" item.

try using the baking recipes with waterplane components. The trilounmeat one and the crab legs, maybe slarghilug poppers too. At this point its depressing but the best option i can think of is to run through every combination of pop and especially waterplane baking recipes we have hoping to get a result. Of course it might just be unfinished anyway...

I have heard several people mention combining several PoP recipes together. But when I saw the list above it did not include a planar blood brew for a drink. Just another idea for the mill.

Killed the Ancient Regrua sentry twice now. He had no loot first kill and a diamond second kill.

Not sure what's more frustrating...the fact that baking hasn't been figured out yet, or that I'm still kos to coldain after days of faction work =/

18 Beek Guinders turn-ins past the point at which I hit amiable now, and still no dice with any Priests of Mischief faction mobs. Only went through all the triggers in common tongue though. I'll wait til warmly to do it all in common and halfling, and then I'll see where my merchants faction is, and my other halfling factions and talk to those guys too.

Might it be a good idea to create a newbie Halfling cleric, spam the guild you start in with the "What platter" series of messages, and see if anyone gives you the "Come back when you can slay a tadpole , NOOB" message , or gives the "Your skill is too low" motion?

Already done by myself and I'm sure a few other people. This is what I tried spamming to almost everyine;

"How do you make a Bristlebane Party Plater? How do you make a Party Plater? How do you make a Plater? What Plane of Water? Who is Aid Grimel? Who is Grimel? I am here to help Aid Grimel. I am here to help Grimel."

I did not try it in Halfling, was not a thought at the time. But this is from an older post on the first page of the new thread here. Feel free to read what I said there. We can always try it in Halfling again, maybe they fixed something with one of the patches?

yeah every patch I redo What Bristlebane's Party Platter? What Party Platter? What Niami?(waves at the denmom) What nice female Halfling cleric? What Regrua? What Plane of Water? What Aid Grimel? How do I make a Bristlebane's Party Platter? and Aid Grimel sent me, I do it in Halfling AND in Common speech to insure that I cover both my language barriers. I've not seen an NPC give me a faction message(I won't aid beings like you!) or anything that would insinuate they know something but just won't tell me.

Has kraken and crab meat been dropping in water previously? I dont remember seeing either until today while clearing out mobs. Crab meat came off the regruas of course. If it is new then maybe there is a new recipe out there somewhere.

Crab Meat has always dropped, albeit rarely. Kraken, Triloun, Fish Eggs and Shrimp also drop or are foraged in the zone.

crab meat must be really rare thats like the first time I've noticed it in a month of farming there. Usually its the claws which we know what to do with. Oh well thought it was new but I guess not.

We hit water pretty hard each time it spawns, and I'd say we probably get an average of 1.5 crab meats every time we do Mighty and Ofossa. I haven't seen any drops in the past week that I had never seen before, except Kraken Suction Cups (prolly just luck that we hadn't seen them before). Nothing even vaguely interesting has dropped for us besides common crab legs and rare crab meat. No other hints of any kind.
