Oracle Quest - Tradeskill parts

Now that the tradeskill portions are complete, I'll be submitting it to EQTraders soon. I'll give it one more day or so in case we spot any glaring errors, then I'll send it in.

Sorry I couldn't be much help but I am not high enough of a lvl to even get the books...lol.
Anyway was thinking has anyone tryed combining the Mana Crystals and the Phylactery in a Decorated Box? Just an idea

in the write up, but u have to combine 4 threads, dont u?

tried it and its 4 silk thread not 4 spiderling silk.

and with 163 skill in tailron it says iam to inexpierenced...

also 162 skill in brewing is to "inexpierenced" to combine step 1.

And the skill figures are fantastic. I'm guessing that ALL the unique combines will require a modified skill of 165; your data supports that.

I'll add in the fixes now.

Edit: I assume for the first step (brewing), you were using Purified mana?

Has anyone at all attempted to make the Phylactery using a different form of palatable mana?

Edit 2: Were you using a geerlok for either of the two combines were you got the "not skilled enough" message? If so, was the skill reported your raw skill or modified skill?

A comment.. it seems a poor reward for a lot of work, the effect at the lvl needed to acquire the books is very underpowered altho useful (well as a necro im never going to argue with right click regen) the question i want to ask is as this is a spell effect will it stack with te regen from z'heart?

Soul Clasp (from the Phylactery) should stack with most things, other than the 3 class-specific buffs mentioned above.

Regeneration (from the Dark Phylactery) is identical to the druid buff, so if you don't have stacking issues with the druid hp regen line, you shouldn't have stacking issues with this either.

gud news u can combine the stone silk recipe with 163 tailor skill + 5%

u can combine step 1 with 162 brewing +5% , using purified mana

bad news are, both failed, lol

Edit: tried both a 2nd time, stone thing failed again.

about brewing i tried cloudy, viscous, distilled and clear mana, all combines to inexpierenced with 162 skill but NO dnc msg.

combine with cloudy mana was succesful, btw. (5% skillmod)

Kirie, if you look at the stacking for Soul Clasp on lucy.fnord.net, you'll notice that it stacks with EVERYTHING except some mage self buffs, illusion bear spells shamans get, and Breath of Tunare (and spells like that).

I wish that was the case but it does not stack with Lunar Whispers, Koadic's Heightened Focus, or Maelin's.

At least one of my beastlord friends is getting good use out of it.

Hmm, not much of an incentive to score this sucker if you're a hybrid - the mana/hp regen is ok, but I'm somewhat doubtful that I'll be able to convince your average guild to help me out with this sucker - especially since Sony made a point of making sure that us hybrids can't even MQ the robe trade in with folks.

:P I think someone else mentioned that earlier too, but yeah, it doesn't. Was concentrating on spells that people can normally get though. :P

I have read reports of people killing 10+ Ghouls, and I can't get him to spawn once... what am I doing wrong? I'm basically killing everything that moves in South Ro (Desert).

Is there a PH that anyone knows about?

Forget South Ro..... spent 9 hours there to get one Ghoul, did manage to get 4 or 5 ACs in that time though.

Go to Oasis... Killed him another 12 Times there in something like 20 more hours of slaughtering Everything in the northern Half of the zone.... Just hope for good luck on the Drop so it doesnt take that many kills....

On the up side, Tunic & Phylactery all completed now... Just need to figure out what the hell the Mana Crystals are for =\

Personally I've found SRo to be easier. The area where he can spawn is smaller and you won't accidently run into a zone line as the zoneline from SRo to Oasis is easily identified, whereas the zoneline from Oasis to NRo is a guestimate.

When I hunted in SRo, I switched between just Sensing Undead and slaying everything I got, and to just tagging ALL mobs I could see (except the Inky merchants) and then to AoE them all when I had them. I got a bunch of Sand Giants that way, one Terrorantula, one Terrorantuling, no AC. Got the Ghoul twice, second one dropped it for me. Had 4 in Oasis, but none dropped it then.
