Actually, can we also shoot whoever came up with the "Caesar salad" for EQ?

Can we compromise and call it a legend? =)

    Nitpick alert...

Actualy the Gordian Knot was reputed to be real and Alexander the Great is supposed to have "untied" this knot by cutting it with his sword. It might have happened or it might be a myth about Alexander created by his followers who ruled in Egypt after his death and the fractioning of his empire among his generals. So it would either be a historical fact or a myth about a historical figure (like George Washington cutting down a cherry tree as a boy).

I warned ya it was a nitpick

I was confused at Daedelus... was thinking Dadaism...

but even then... I will want to generally avoid that also

    thanks

And at this time we are still trying to "save" item numbers... so I will not be tripling the amount of items made, by doing three name sets for the armor, it will just have to be race based, so yes... some evil humans will be stuck with "nice" sounding stuff.

also... I like many of your suggestions but want to avoid the ones named after RL artists

    Changes not in yet

(A copy of my post to the related SOE Forum)

Well, as of today's (5/16/2007) patch message, the new system hasn't been implements. It looks like we have at least another week to turn raw materials into swatches and bars.

I suggest these evil-sounding armor prefixes, which are actually synonyms for some of the "Elaborate" prefixes.

    Brutish
    Grotesque
    Bizarre
    Tortuous (not "torturous")
    Gordian
    Daedal
    Insane

I suggest the following non-religious prefixes to be used for Skeptic augments. These prefixes focus on the "practical" versus "religious" nature of things.

    Sensible
    Reasonable
    Practical
    Rational
    Pragmatic
    Logical
    Empirical

No more shawl type quest? One that doesn't involve a lot of factioning? Boooo.... If there were no long quest with horde of no drop items, then *Ever*quest wouldn't quite be Ever.

I guess maybe they should stop making so many irritating quests with crappy no drop collections.

Having to store armour patterns and the different level charm patterns seems unnecessary to me, when you could you change the recipes so that the books are used in making the new designs, instead of the patterns.

I believe you can still include the chance for the books to be destroyed or destroyed after a number of uses and this would help a number of us tremendously.

The cultural armor will still require the quested books, as their patterns are what you will use to apply the culturally specific designs to the armor.

Heck - come to 7th, I only want/need two!!! Have a fully made Bazu Seal of Magic and no cultural to put it in /cry.

The way the prices on are 7th I would end up paying more for the silk (110,000pp for 1 swatch last night in baz) to make the cultural than I spent to make the AAAA.....
