ozzcat.... if you had read through this entire thread, you would know that the POK potions (distillate of clarity x, etc) did not change at all.

the drop you can get in Kedge is called "deepwater ink". go to the eqtraders site and you can use the search function to see all you can make with deepwater ink. (hint: it is for the level ix pok potions)

as for cost, they are very inexpensive to make IF you do your own pharming for the drop (only one drop per recipe, in this case "deepwater ink", the rest is vendor bought in POK and/or abysmal sea). each successful combine produces 5 doses, so it ends up that you can sell them for less than the POK vendor sells them for, and still turn a profit, once you get your success rate up there.

as for the non-POK recipes... if you do not want to help figure them out, you don't have to! just wait a couple more weeks and i'm sure all (or nearly all) will be figured out by other, more ambitious folk.

if you just want to rant, that's fine too! but there is a separate forum for it. i know this isn't english class (note my abysmal capitalization skeelz) but it is easier to help someone who asks specific questions nicely =)

      * Bows to Ndaara * Thank you.

And I made a few type X potions last night. Cost was less than 1 PP for five potions, plus the farmed Nodding Blue Lily. Can't get much better than that.

For a start, you could have read the patch message, where there was a section dedicated to alchemy ...

Barring that, several alchemy vendors in PoK and Abysmal Sea sell new books that are the basis for the new alchemy discoveries.

Ozzcat, you are aware there's a site attached to this message board, right? With a database of tradeskill recipes? Not trying to be facetious, it just sounds like you may not realize.

yes i do realize it how do you think i got here and thats what im talking bout there being no recipes of old world yet discovered i know it takes time to post them i used to run a site of my own. and no i didnt see the patch message that said they were completely changed and where to find books and such see now thats the first bit of actual direction i have recieved. i musta either just missed that part of the patch message or didnt read it that day and never knew till i looked on EQtraders. 90 percent of the time patch messages do not directly effect me in this way if i had know before hand that alchemy was being revamped i would have made sure i read every patch message it just gets monotonous reading and reading when all i want to do is go in and level my pally so i can three box him with my 70 shaman and 67 ranger {yes i am tired of constant LFG so i made my own makings of a group} but as i said in the 5 years i been playing this game i think i seen about 4 times something pertainted directly effecting an active toon i was using atm so i tend to not be very thorough and mostly glance at the patch messages.

oh and btw "several alchemy vendors in PoK and Abysmal Sea sell new books that are the basis for the new alchemy discoveries" was the first actual useful bit of info i had gotten besides the fact that if i had read all the way thru the patch message i may have decifered that myself.

Many of the new recipes are already on the site. Click the recipes link in the menu, and then the Alchemy recipes link. There's a brief description of the changes and links to the pages with what we have updated of the new recipes.
