but my enchanter has for a long time had a line in her KEI spam that she loves tradeskill donations which gets her the occasional lambent stone or piece of scale ore.

Today someone handed her 15 othmir furs.

I cant remember which alt it was, but one of mine found 2 smudged runic parchments (used in DoDH spell research for level 65 spells), 40p + change each, on a fishing merchant in PoK. I quickly checked here to make sure I was buying what I thought it was. Now to see if I can find some saltpeter and sulfer. The baz villians want way too much for the saltpeter on Erollisi Marr.

I've found a couple of the Smudged Runic ones and 3 of the other varieties for 61-64 spells...haven't attempted anything yet, but I will, soon as I figure out which spells I wanna try for

found a couple of smudged runic parchments in Thurgadin last night while shopping for velium and coldain temper. found a used parchment the first day depths was released. of course, i only just got the expansion so i haven't had a chance to try making anything yet =)

I've had my fair share of luck in the past, but I figured by now there are a) more vendor divers, b) more gamers in the loop as far as what's what, and c) I am far less intersted in beating everyone in the art of vendordiving... So, as I was doing the DoN armor quest on an alt, I found discordant scoriae -- on a DoN tradeskill vendor! Sure, I still find tons of DoD rares (no silks / hides, though), PoP stuff and such, but to find the argueably most expensive tradeskill drop (as far as loot that you can actually sell to a vendor)... wow! I just had to post about it. =)

P.S. got a magnificent hide hours later. =)

Found "A crazy cleric doll" and "Sly Summoner Doll" (lil over 300pp ea) on a single vendor the other day. They sell for roughly 25k on Quellious. Also recently found 2 Ashlock branches, and a Tolapumj robe for lil over 30pp.

They have a 'hug' effect, causing a regeneration effect. Other than that, they're cute?

There aren't 2 dolls. There are 14 dolls (soon to be 15). These dolls are part of the PoM armor quests. Different dolls come from different gift boxes... each class has their own gift box. I'm not gonna give away the whole quest (mainly because it's a long quest and I can't remember it off of the top of my head) but I just thought I'd let you know that there is a doll for each class, and they're used in the armor quests.
