I bought mine in the bazaar so I can't make another one.

To me, it's like buying something from a store and having it for a week then having them come back and take it away from me and give me the model two steps below it to replace it. It's just not right.

Mine was made by a friend in exchange for bringing him the components, including the calming fluid stuff. I still have a bow that's better than EP ratio wise, but if I was a Warrior, I would have got the other bow, then now have a 47/37 bow instead of 44/37. However, since I'm a Ranger, I just lose HP, FT, stats, etc.

Yeah, I can get the components and get a Druzzil bow made. Even sell my CTLCB when I get the new one. It's the whole concept - only Rangers had the bow. Only Rangers paid for, or made, the bow. Only Rangers get their bow knocked down, while those that had the lesser bow, WAR, SK, PAL, ROG and perhaps a few Rangers, get the sweeter bow for ZERO effort.

It was done bass-ackwards.

I am definitely puzzled by the MASSIVE change to this considering there didn't appear to be a problem to begin with. "If it ain't broke..don't fix it." It seems that what happened is a little ol' "If it ain't broke...break it."

Fortunately, I only turned half of my hoarded Composites into Plainswalker's. I don't know if this was a way to punish people for hoarding but I am sure I am just one of many who had quite a few sitting on their trader from a result of trying to hit the elusive 300 mark.

Yes, the components WERE cheap but they won't be any longer. The new Druzzil bow strings are fairly expensive for skilling up but reasonable for tradeskill profit.

I tried 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Calming Fluids woth the Druzzil Bow, no luck.

lol just got back from work wonderful news. GREAT the PLAINSWALKER ranger only better bow that I paid 75k for last week is now nerfed into a weaker version of its self. So what I should have known is I should have bought the cheaper composite bow for 25k less just got a hugh upgrade?
I swear to god that monster.com commercial on tv all the time, that shows all the monkeys in the office, must have been shot right there in the SOE office with no actors needed.

Strike 2 ranger only bow gets nerfed and I lose 75k -check
Strike 3 ? can only be comming soon and probably will be before june 13 when my 1 year subscription expires and i dont bother to renew.

Plz dont tell me to make another ive only been playing for a year I dont have the high enought trade skills that others have since they have been playing this game 4+ years allready.

But also this was not my choice. I was told to make these changes. I did voice a bit of discomfort with the Plainswalker getting downgraded, but did not set my heels in either. Of the 8 bows, 7 got upgrade, 1 downgraded. Overall less people would be affected the way it went down than other choices we had.

It came down to affecting the least amount of people with a change that was going to happen.

If Maddoc decides to post his full reasoning he can explain it better, but with the overt hostility I do not know if he will bother.
