Patience on Ngreth's fix is the way to go (provided I dont grow any mroe grey hairs!) (OMG my vanity...)


Though I do like the solution of a merc item that fits the name with the added feature that the merc potion is either a. unuseable as a normal potion or b. useable as a potion but a relatively higher cost (to prevent another "cheap" skillup route and to prevent rogues from neglecting their potions!)

BTW, have all of the combines for the trophy done and the final items for the last combine in my bags, Just waiting to buy a stunning concoction 1 or when the patch comes thru and the trophy is mine!. Currrently at 270 though. Those **** flying monkeys are driving me crazy!

The next patch is scheduled for 3/14 (I have no control over this)

I have made the necessary changes and they have already passed QA.

Ok, So this won't go live until at the earliest 3/14, fine but why don't you have them like add the old Stunning Concoction I to one of the vendors in the guild hall since adding it to an instance would not require a full patch, and then once the actual fix is in then it could be removed and people can do it the normal way.

As a side note is it going to be Simple Suspension of XXX IV or I, because it was I originally not IV.

Neither. He explained earlier in this thread that the recipe for the bola will change -- to use the new alchemy made stun potion rather than the old obsolete one. So as such, the task will not need to be changed.

The original stunning concoction potions went from I through VI, while the new suspension potions go from I through X -- it is not a direct correlation. Exactly how the numbers translate from old to new is anyone's guess, as the data for power of effect is (so far) not available for the new potions.

Granted, I don't know the logistics of a deployment to the servers but this certainly sounds like an amiable solution for those of us who busted our butts to get this done in the first 4 horus of PoR only to be stopped dead at a brick wall while watching everyone else get trophies all around us.

Yeah, and it's not like we can just easily skill up to the next level at the drop of a hat like can be done with the beginner brewer test. Though I still can't grasp how a combine that is well known for being undoable because one of the components has never been found in game, even made it on the list of combines to be used, or at the very least have a way to obtain the missing component found before hand.

Back to the HQ Ra'tuk hides, can anyone confirm since PoR went live that they have gotten some HQ hides? I've killed ra'tuks in every zone I can think of repeatedly, and can't seem to find any. I get tons of mangled and quality, but zero high quality. And from what I've heard on Tunare, no one I know has found any either.

Anyone on bertox server that needs one of the potions look me up, go by the name of spykke. Read the board and heard ngreth talking bout looking into the issue and had decided it was better to keep looking for the potion in baz, sure enough found 17 of em for 200pp each. Obviously i stockpiled on em . So Feel free to shoot me a tell if your on sever, love to help out my fellow tradeskillers.

Yea, I check the bazaar everyday. I have a trader I keep up pretty much 24/7 so when I'm at home, I'll check every 30 mins or so, still havent seen a single HQ for sale since this quest went live. Tons of quality, wish there was a way you could enhance the quality of the hide and turn a quality into a HQ or something
