Can't make my trophy ( 250 skill one )

I'm stuck on my trophy ( 294 tailor ).
The problem is I am being held back by Alchemy.....
Stunning Concoction 1 ( http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_item.php?item=10273 ) is needed to make the Concussive Bola. None of the shaman I have talked to can figure out how to make this potion yet. I've checked the alchemy forum and see no mention of it thus far.

The 300 skill folks all are making their trophies, but I'm dead in the water awaiting a skill I couldn't even do if I wanted. Seems like a poor idea to make the tailoring trophy combine contingent upon a skill thats class specific using a recipe that was going to be removed/altered.

Anyone else run accross this problem? Have a solution?

Stuck at same spot here. I was worried that maybe I bought the wrong items. The old recipie called for:

Cork
Empty Vial
Arroweed
Angurth
Yellow Rheum
Kaktu

And all the herby things were listed here to be on the same vendor. I found Kaktu on one vendor, and bought Arroweed Leaf, Angurth Leaf, and, Yellow Rheum Leaf off another vendor. It was late, but I thought I should check here, or recheck the vendor to see if the old Arroweed, Angurth, and Yellow Rheum were still available before I /bugged it. I didn't want to run off ranting without checking the obvious, and with a bit of rest

Unless someone in the know confirms this is a bug here during the day, I will recheck the vendor, maybe have a shaman try to combine Arroweed Leaf by itself and see if Arroweed is the result, and then /bug it.

Same thing here

I'm stuck at the exact same spot, and have been working with a shaman from my guild, going over the new books with him and buying the various "sizes" of herbs for him to try the combine, but so far no luck. I dunno if we're trying the wrong vials or what, I made him several of each of the new vials just to be safe.

Will be sure to post the new recipe if we find it.

All or just about all alchemy recipies were changed so this isn't a bug Clamford...more of an unfortunate domino or accordion effect really. Until the new recipie is found we are just SoL.

It appears as though they have added an ingredient. The books refer to somthing like poison from some special kind of Drake or somthing to that effect. Not in the game so going by memory.

I wasn't thinking that this is bugged in any way. I guess I was just kind of venting that I am totally helpless that my tailoring trophy lies completely in the hands of a tradeskill I can't even do myself if I wanted to.

I'd like to think this was a design oversite and they would not intentionally stall tailoring progress based on alchemy.

poison from a drake? as in drake saliva or mature drake saliva, perhaps?

I know Aberrant Poison Sac drops from Corrupted Drakes in the Nest.

Yeah, I don't think that the recipe for the concoction is "broken" or anything, I'm just disappointed that I'm firmly stuck on an alchemy sub-combine that I have no way of working on myself. I suppose I could delete an alt and PL a shaman to 25th, but I really don't wanna do that.

I'm not knocking the new trophies in general, I love the concept and didn't have a problem with having to go farm components for the other combines. A while in Riwwi netted me the scales and HQ hides, had some of the other items banked from various Tipt/KT runs, and didn't mind at all having to run around and collect the other items needed. It's a task, so I didn't expect to be handed the trophy for free

I just hate being stuck here.

I also am stuck at this point. It's aggrevating to no end. I have a Shaman high enoguh to start Alchemy but do I really want to wade chin high into a bunch of alchemy potions that I could care less for just to get a sub combine for my tailoring trophy? argggg!

Nah it won't. It is a bug that passed by because of the way I did the testing. (A flaw in the testing method, not in the testing itself...)

will look into fixing those recipes. (it means all the bolas the used potions are broken... I did a query.,.. I wonder why that did not show up...)

Unfortunately, I read this too late to get it in tomorrows patch. But will fix it asap.

I know the concoction is a holdup spot, but I'm having a horrible time finding the HQ Ra'tuk brute hides. Been killing in Riwwi for about 4 hours, well over 100 ra'tuks, and havent seen a single HQ hide.

i found a good drop rate in bazaar, for like 40-50p...

i am also stuck on my stunning concotions

I found plenty of quality hides in the bazaar, no high quality though, at least on Tunare
