I played with DoDH research today, and this is what I found

Ok, is the cleansing just parchment plus celestial cleaner? Nevrmind, got it now, just wasnt clear to me, I thought you cleansed the parchment then combined that with the solution.

I'm trying to combine a Grimy Fine Vellium Parchment with Celestial Cleanser and it is not working.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

how do you make the finely ground salt ??? do you put it in the mortar and keep hitting combine???

SoE raised the research cap to 300 months ago. We just did not have a way to skill up that far.

The salt is made in the spell book container.

Have all of the resulting Spell scrolls made been droppable? Or are they GoD spells (for example) self-research only as they remain a No Drop item?

They were all tradable in Beta, including Gates spells =) I'm sure they still are now as it would be difficult for the non-research classes to get the spells. I know someone a few posts back mentioned that they were successful on making a gates slow spell for their shammy (or a shammy).

If I'm not mistaken...I think the books state the parchments can be player made. Did anyone else catch that in the books??

Of course, this being an LDoN spell, it may not be combineable because it would be considered a 'quested' spell.

Yeah I don't know if ldon spells are even researchable. I sure hope they are though, because otherwise this is just going to be a way to make plat if the god spells are droppable.

I just tried to make horror by combining:

Velium Parchment +
Quill of the Arch Lich +
Ink of Pain +
Ink of Terris Thule +
Extending Thickener

and got DNC. Necros don't have a spell collision at lvl 63 with those attributes so I am assuming that LDoN spells were not included. Quite the bummer.
