I played with DoDH research today, and this is what I found

war march won't combine

Been trying to make war march of the mastruq for my friend's bard alt, but I can't seem to get it to combine.

It's a group song that increases attack speed, strength, attack and damage shield.

So, should be:
Runic Parchment - 65 song
Quill of the Maestro - bard class
Ink of Alacrity - Attack speed
Ink of the Rhino - Strength
Ink of Zek - Attack
Ink of Pain - Damage Shield
Ink of the Nameless - Stat modifying
Talisman Thickener - group spell

But I get dnc. I've tried swapping out the talisman thickener for invigorating (just in case), but dnc. I've tried swapping out the Ink of the Nameless, for nothing, but dnc. I've tried combos of both thickeners and nameless, added or taken out, but still dnc.
And in case there is another song like this, I tried throwing in some highland sludge drying powder and went through all the combinations I tried again, but still, dnc.
I even went to try and see if taelosian powder could be made into a drying powder, just in case, but it can't.

now I think I'm too close and can't see something simple.
am I overlooking something?

Infusion of Spirit

Maybe Ngreth can shoot my logic down here and I will stop losing what little is left of my mind. IoS only comes from level 61 BST parchment turn-ins even if it is also a 49 Shammy spell.

I started with a parchment ( 61 spell).
I have tried both Quill of the Prophet and Quill of the Feral lord. DNC.
I have used the following other items:
Ink of the rhino (strength buff)
Ink of the Bear ( Stamina buff)
Ink of the Monkey ( Dexterity buff)

I tried it with invigorating thickener ( and without). I have tried it with ink additive of Luclin and Ink of the Nameless ( forget why, lol).

I would appreciate any and all ideas.

If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to research it with LoY research and you'll get a spell that both a shaman and beastlord can use.

As someone pointed out to me on a different thread (or was it this thread? I forget), its a PoP spell... which came after LoY.

There should be a new DoD recipe for it but it might have gotten overlooked.

LoY was after PoP. Horses came before Drogs.

I honestly don't recall whether LoY came before PoP or after... regardless, PoP spells were not researchable when the LoY era recipes went in.

And horses are from Luclin era which predates both of them.

Doh. Of course, you are right about the horses. I still *think* LoY was after. LoY was when Frogloks became playable. Prior to that (and now, again) the Grobb stone existed (and sent you towards Grobb...and not Gukta.)

LoY was the expansion after PoP. However the LoY research only allows you to research 51-60 dropped spells. IoS is level 49.

sun storm

The recipe for sun storm is not correct I dont know the recipe yet but still working on it . the answer lays some where in the ink I belive ink of the monkey suppose to be dex but sun storm has nothing to do with dex .... any one have a ny idea let me know . I f I get it I posted it ...

Ok I figured it out . I was right it's not ink of the monkey as listed , it is ink of pain.
