Fool's Gold alias gold nugget is tagged as a tradeskill item. I searched here and EQtraders without finding such a use. I suspect maybe an alchemy recipe? I know of at least one other item used in the shackle combine that isn't listed as tradeskill (Jade Magma) so it isn't flagged because of that. I couldn't find any monks who wanted these unstackable beauties, so I guess they're off to my mule for a while.
