mushrooms and feathers, foraged on luclin, and bread crumbs, foraged in plane of justice are tagged as tradeskill items.

clockwork grease, foraged in plane of innovation, used in tinkering to create cams for elemental bows are NOT flagged as trade skill.

(adding clockwork grease to the NOT list too.)

Looted Bolts of Tallon in the Grey last night, and it was flagged as tradeskill.

Bolts of Tallon are used in spell research aren't they? If so, suppose researchable spell components got tagged for tradeskills also?

          Ssra Forages

Wax Flowers and Autumn Crocuses were foraged in Ssra and are listed as tradeskill items - never remember foraging them pre-patch.

Green froglok skin is flagged as tradeskill. I'm not aware of any use for it.

We were foraging autumn crocus and wax flowers in Ssra a week or 2 ago on test. They changed the forage tables there, and aparently in Vex Thal too.

Clockwork grease isnt considered a tradeskill item because the combine, in a clay jar, is not assiciated with any tradeskill. Start a new lvl 1 toon, with 0 in all skills and do the combine. You will get no skillup in any skill and will not fail.

There was a recepie found for the waterleaf scale i think. Its buried in the Aid Grimel quest post when people were attempting to figure out the Party Platter recepie. Somoen found some combine.. and then the spoiler was released for the Platter on Test Server, and everyone completely forgot about the other combine, and the list of items dredged up from the database.

Clockwork armor thats made into the high end tinkered cultural armor may not be flagged as Tradeskills, because its already flagged as Armor. More than likely These sort of items can only be flagged for one class and not more than one.

How about the weapons that are used in the Troll/Ogre smithing upgrade?
They are gonna be flagged as weapons (1hs, 1hb etc) but not as Tradeskill items. Can someone check?

Greater Lightstones are used tomake Wus Gauntlets, but in the bazaar search function, they will show up under the light source category. Can someone check this as well?

I think Green Floglok skin is used to make armor dye... I could be wrong.

              Diaku Blood
              Boruk Hide
              Kaniz Hide

I think its time to start experimenting with these....

To answer some of the parts of this thread:

Vampire dust: used in an "old alchemy" combine (Shumar's Breath).
Green froglok skin: one of several ways to make the old black dye (for dying Fine Plate in the longlongago).

Feather, Waterleaf Scale: If these have a use, I have not seen it.
the Torment hides: Any effort to make anything out of torment stuff will be made difficult by the fact it will no doubt require Purple Diamonds of Torment. GL getting enough Putrescent Blood to ... do anything.

Living coal, used to make the ceramic sword of war, wasn't flagged as a tradeskill item either. When I was checking my vendor last time there were also a couple items I think weren't flagged as tradeskill. . . . . but I don't remember what they are now since someone bought them. It was either sandstorm pearls or enforcer stones, but I will send a bug report for both just in case.

All that stuff is combined in a glaze mortar, which is also a no-fail combine. Im guessing a glaze mortar isnt associated with a tradeskill, therefore anything that only has a combine in a glaze mortar isnt flagged as 'tradeskill'. Any schlep can do the combine and never fail and never get a skillup in anything.

autumn crocus/wax flowers are for poisons.

waterleaf scale + *thinking*... moonstone crystal = something with no known use
(I made it once, just to see it.)

weirdest one i found was that exactly one of the three types of A Chant Rock is a tradeskill item. (the rarer, beige one).

also: blood of velious. am i missing a research recipe? or is this for some obscure quest? (it is stackable and not NO DROP)

It is indeed. This tradeskill combine is part of the Iksar Shaman progressive cudgel quest.

Finally people will see that tufts of dire wolf fur are used in a tradeskill and maybe they will stop destroying them as much

And start charging 300p each for them as they should.

Geepers man!@!!!, it takes like 40 of the things to make one bloody bag. 300 * 40 = 12000p You can barely make a profit at 10p each.

Timerous Tuna are flagged. I have like 12 stacks of these fished while guarding the turnin mob for my last epic piece. I hope somebody finds the recipy for this soon, so I can know to keep or discard.

Is it just me, or do the rest of you think that this flag will be totally usless in identifying new recipies? So now we know it is combined with one or more of 50,000 other items in one or more of 50 possible containers. Someone do the math, how many permutations is that. This will not help.

Timorous Tuna can be used to make prepared fish and fish bones.

And then we can it and sell it to Vah Shir.
