I saw the photo of the RGB selector inerface but I can not find it now as Sony is being hammered. You can select a 255,255,255 style number to pick the color correct? Its not just a slider?

yes you can type in your own numbers or use the preset ones. I personally used the preset ones to find a scheme I liked, then went and took 1 or 2 points off each number, so the color stayed pretty much the same, but that way no one will have the exact some color as me. Gonna be pretty hard to get my numbers exactly.

I'm the same way, I want to be unique. At first I was like yippee black armor but I realized 199,000 other people were thinking the same exact thing. Rather not see myself coming and going

Where in Stoneburnt is the zone to Gunthak?

A better question probably is "where do I buy the SB port spell?"

Edit: in East commons in the tunnel

          Thanks for the info!

When you zone into stonebrunt from the warrens, you take a right and follow the wall til you hit the water, then follow the water left, until you see a dock, the new zones at at the end of that dock. You click on the doors to zone in. I have no idea where the new port spells are sold, I don't play a porter and never looked for them.

I was playing a DE necro, everything on the dock when you first zone in was indifferent. The dock is filled with vendors and people who give quests, there is also a banker in the lighthouse (gnome if I remember correct, sitting at a table). after I left the docks, everything was KOS, so I am not sure how the faction would be for other races.

On my wrists I wear two bone bracers of corruption, and for shoes I wear shrouded boots.

Neither of these things have a graghic, other than the brown leatherish look that barbarians have.

Has anyone tried dyeing slots w/ armor, but without a "look?"

I imagine that I will have to keep going around looking as if I'm not wearing armor in those slots, but thought I would try to see if anyone knew for sure while we putter around waiting.

I really hope you can dye a graphic-less item. In most of my racial illusions I look like I'm shirtless since robes don't show up in most of them. It'd at least be nice to dye the skin so it at least appeared that I was wearing something.

If the armor doesn't have an appearance, there's no color there. Sorry.

This also happens if there's a gap in your armor, such as arms that don't cover all of your arms... it just shows your plain skin.

I haven't gotten on to try it yet, but I'm gonna be real bent if I can't dye those Bracers of Benevolence (ok, wrist slot while wearing BoBs).

AWESOME item, lousy pic - I'm pretty sure it is a graphic - a bland one, rather than none, I mean.

anyone have an estimated weight of each and can the final dyes be stacked?

                                From eqlive:
Players can choose any of the pre-defined colors, or enter any valid number for each of the color values (Red, Green and Blue) to make any custom tint they desire. Once this tint is saved, any item placed in the dyed location will take on that color. This is a tint, though, not a change to the basic texture of the armor. It is not possible to remove colors inherent to the armor, so some armor pieces will tint differently than others.

Sounds to me like it adds to the color, and doesn't replace the original, as someone suggested. Try dying a set of gnome skin armor white.
