A tradeskill bank for tradeskill flagged items would be amazing.

Edit: Crossposted with the person above me - I see their point now.

However, if we eliminate the 10 billion sub combines some things require that just cost money and space would be nice.

AAAAs for example - all of that refining of ore with gnomish heat sources and carbon powder is ridiculous, if you're going to have a requirement like that, at least put the vendors close together for the bought sub combine components.

Cut out some of the sub combines and up the price of the remaining pieces would balance it out.

http://www.mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/...ewpost&t=28613 More than 10 slots = dangerous and extremely unlikely as a result

While I welcome these changes wholeheartedly, one thing that has always bothered me about DON cultural was the inequity in vendor sold required parts vs the appropriate level to wear the item in question.

In other words, why does my level 20 non twink on a new server who can barely earn enough to buy his spells (or a new player just starting eq excited about the chance to make his own items) have to spend the same amount as the level 65 character does to make substantially lower tiered gear?

When you are looking at this revamp I hope (though I don't think I've seen it mentioned) that the vendor bought goods are getting adjusted as well. 83pp may not seem like alot to a high level toon, but that's days of play at level 20 and that's just for one combine of Journeyman's Daybreaker Bars or whatever it is you are making (the 6 return combine, not the 1). With all the changes to the dropped components, I hope you are going to make it a bit easier for newer players to get into tradeskills and not continue to relegate things like smithing and tailoring to the rich and/or bored.

    Cheers for Ngreth

I gotta say I am looking forward to this change. I was spending a fortune using corathus entrails (note that I FARMED the entrails) to skill up to 252 - post that...I'm not even sure what I was going to do (I'm at 245 tailoring).

As for smithing, I really feel Tae Ew chain was a really good skillup path for smithing, I had no problem with that, but I wouldn't object to some variety.

One question related to the book quests - do you anticipate making the GM TS books harder to get or easier? I have the quest still, but I cringe at the thought of going after 50 more arachnid eye clusters (I'm a high elf).

In regards to nullifying all existing cultural armor drops: What types of zones do you anticipating spreading the high skill up drops to? TSS/TBS only or other parts of the world?

Any chance of a tradeskill Bank ? I'd spend 20 AA to get a bank area that I can stick my 100's of items marked for tradeskills. That or increase anytying marked for tradeskills to stacks of 100. Anyway Love your work and its great the Tradeskill community has such a devoted Dev.

    Not the subject but :
In some server is hard to find some race GrandMaster, it's possible to hope that in a future a Grandmaster can learn one more racial cultural with somes conditions ?
    - Faction (ally)
    - level tradeskill (max of course )
    - Quest
    - AA (something like the ones that permit to level upside 200)
    - etc.
I have no current plans for this, but it is possible, but not very likely.

The "Non Raid" drop (the steel/silk/leather) drop is changing. The Raid drop is staying the same.
At some point in the future, I will be adding a raid drop for "75" in TSS and TBS but we have not yet gotten to that, and it will not be with this change.
One thing to Note. The AC on the Last blood was too high. We do **NOT** plan on adjusting that AC. But because of that, there may not be a huge difference in the AC of these new augments, possibly even staying the same, but the effects and stats will continue to raise appropriately.

Yay! Cause trying to level my trophy on AAAA parts and seals is a scary thought

*edit* Saw the bit about the symbol, does that mean gnomes will be able to tinker their symbols now too? /beg

It looks to me like they will be making the same changes to the DoN augments as they are to the armor. So I personaly will not be holding onto anything. It will all go into crafting this weekend at the latest. I'd rather burn through my entire stockpile for a shot at even one skill up than be left holding the bag a day late and a copper short.
