Actually, I would LOVE this as an option, Tradeskills & Ldons, my favorite entertainment.

The same idea has been floated about using LDON and AA points to change factions and it has never stuck.

Hehehe, you guys are such optimists. I, on the other hand am lightning quick to see the down side. If the AAs similar to JCM3 are class specific, then all you clerics out there that decided that smithing is going to be your one and only tradeskill.....you have just reached permanent obsolescence.

Example: on a combine that has a 66% failure rate with a 252 skill, with a material cost of 20,000plat per combine. You have to charge 60k per item to break even. Now, a warrior, (if he is the only class to get smithing mastery) changes that failure rate from 66% to 33%. He can sell the same item for 45k and make a large profit. Bottom line, no more high end sales for the cleric.

For some of us this will be a minor inconvenience. For others, it will be disaster.

Except that the tradeskill AAs are general (for everyone.)

I'm sorry, but if this is true, it is completely and utterly ridiculous. Just because Enchanters & Jewelry Crafting mesh well together is no reason to restrict this AA now that they have gone and added the TM AAs and made the others available to all.

This is NOT Enchanter-bashing. I fully support Enchanters getting a refund of their AA points and a replacement worthwhile AA skill. And Enchanters would still retain their advantage in that they can enchant their own metals, create their own mana vials, and imbue almost all the PoP-related gems.

If they leave JCM as enchanter-only, they might as well restrict it as a class skill like Alchemy & Poison-Making, and refund all of our skill points and plat sunk into the skill.

                /sigh

                  Cost

In anticipation of the servers coming back up, does anyone know how much these salvage or modifier aa's are going to cost?

Salvage is 5 for each level though.

from above....there is 3 levels of salvage.

I fully agree. Reimburse chanters, and *make JCM open to all classes* now. Especially given the structure of OoW Augment recipes (JC -> Alchemy/Poison), there is no reason to make augments an enchanter+shaman/rogue enterprise only.

I haven't seen this anywhere, but are any of the OoW tradeskill AA level restricted (or are all OoW AA 66+)?

                            Mastery is lvl 59.

Salvage is 5 aa per lvl available at 60, 65, and 70.

I agree, JC should be available to all classes

FYI I am an enchanter with JC2.
