    I think in smithing, EVERYTHING metal should be able to be broken down into some quantity of metal.

    I'm game for similar things in other tradeskills as well, but that just makes sense.

    patterns shouldn't be consumed either. IRL I sew and I still have some patterns from when I started. I realize patterns are dirt cheap, it's more the principle of the thing.
