Anyways, if sony actually came out and said they were live tested, or said that they were going to live test them, I'm sure the community would be less annoyed. There might be great recipes with great clues that give hints as to what to do, and we might have just stopped trying to find them since there's often so many random things in game that don't mean anything. Or they might not be working as intended. Sony doesn't exactly have a great track record and it would be nice if their QA could make sure that things were working properly. That said, Sony has also done a good job in the past with some recipes. It just seems that oftentimes the things that the developers intend to put in and ask to be put in dont' get put in correctly.
For all we know there could be a ground spawn recipe book somewhere with all the missing recipes, but it spawns on top of a tree so nobody can find it. Or there's an npc that paths by and scoops it up before anybody can find it. It's happened before. <shrug>
