Suppose a barbarian warrior worshiping Rallos Zek wants some deity specific armor. Hmm. Barbarians can only make Tribunal armor. Ogre shaman can make warrior Rallos Zek armor, but barbarians can't wear it. However, human smiths worshipping any deity can get imbude stones from the ogre, and the barbarian can wear it.

Ogre imubed, human made, usable by barbarians. So whose "culture" is this?

why can't i find anything my erudite wizard can wear who worships sol ro that he can make with cultural. found tons of stuff for plate classes and followers of prexus/quellious robe ppl but so far only bd ultural woven platinum for my wizard. i can make 5 robes and bd cultural. a tailoring race has steelweave and steelsilk for plate but only bd cultural woven platinum for robe? 4 robe classes and 3 plate including shd/pally and cleric. sorry. i just confused by waht they were smokig when they made erudite cultural tailoring.

The recipes for Brodder’s Revenge and Lewena’s favorite drink do currently work. However, they are among a moderately lengthy list of undiscovered recipes that span several trades. Hints may be added if those recipes remain undiscovered.

Anyone have any information on The recipes he refers to?

          Sounds interesting

The ideas and concerns surrounding the trophies, and their inability to yield different, permanent bags, are known. The desire and effort put into the items is known and appreciated. Should any amicable solution arise, it will be seriously considered.
No offense, but with all the garbage they've added to the database in the form of drops that only get sold to vendors, I don't think it's too much to ask to just create the 9 different Grandmaster Bags, one type for each Trophy. Those of you who have GM'd multiple skills deserve to reap the rewards of your efforts.

Actually I was being serious, but in my defense, I just recently came back to EQ after a year away from it and am no longer playing a ranger to boot.

I'm glad to see they added those Karana bowyering recipes. It wasn't obvious that there were Karana recipes from looking at the Fletching menu on the Web site. Perhaps a section for Karana fletching recipes is in order?

Also, are there fletching recipes for making arrows for Karana archers similar to the Blessed Champion Arrows you can make for Tunare archers?

For what it's worth, my original point still holds: there are more cultural recipes than just blacksmithing and tailoring. Your informative responses have only reinforced that statement.

Means that they are finally looking at the High elf and other cultural smithing that require items not easily gotten by the race that creates the items... I cannot tell you how much plat I have used up in buying Morning Dew from Forragers because I cannot forrage as a high elf. It seems that all other cultures pay at most 1 plat for the item to do the sub-combines (Enchanted Large bricks to blocks then blocks to sheets and the rings then the jointing) I am hoping that they make the tempers still use morning dew and allow us to use either Morning Dew OR Elven wine for the subcombines... or make a way to extract the morning dew from the elven wine... Something... I cannot stand setting up a forrage toon or paying 10 to 100 pp per Morning dew any more.
Try what I do, I'm a gnome, so I also cannot forage the items I need for the robe tailoring, Steamfont Spring Water and Cauldron Prawns. However, they need not be foraged. Steamfont Spring water drops off of the Kobolds and Minatours in Steamfont, and the Aqua Goblins in Dagnor's Cauldron drop Cauldron Prawns. In the same zones they are foraged in.

I belive the same will be true for all of the like items, I'm pretty sure I had Morning Dew drop from Brownies in the Lesser Faydark when I was camping them for Brownie parts, bet morning dew is foraged here.

ultimate cultural tinkering. sure everyone else can do it but with a skill of zero and never increasing i still think it ranks up there.

would it be too much to ask for a different thing for the brewer's artisan seal? or maybe you use a saphire instead of a bd for the corker. might have been to balance how cheap brewing is to raise but trophy fails REALLY HURT for brewing.

i would like to know about sol ro imbued stuff. would be awesome if done like the karana stuff where it just checked for deity. yeah i do plan on getting like 4 str and wearing it all with pride at least once if it is like the rings. edit ooh. ooh. wtb flame motif. make it undyeable. now it all looks like you're on fire. /grin

This compares favorably to neriak nectar (the dark elf equivalent of morning dew), which is available from vendors in 3rd gate (the same zone as the cultural forge) for 7sp. Wait, no, high elves are hosed for their temper components.

Consider the Tradesman for each craft is given a "Craftman's Title":

Level 1-99: No Title (just based on the normal "Quality listing"
                            Level 100-149: Master (M)
                            Level 150-199: Master Crafter (MC)
                            Level 200-249: Grandmaster (G)
Level 250+: Grand Craft Master (GC)

The adjustements would be small... but it would add some flavor to them. And would give the player some incentive to strive for a higher level. Here is just a -suggestion- on what it might do to one item.

If an item is made by some < Master, it is the standard item.
                            large sandblasted breastplate
                            MAGIC ITEM

                            WT: 7.3 Size: SMALL
                            Class: NONE
                            Race: NONE
                            Slot type 2:empty
                            Slot type 2:empty

                            <TEXT REMOVED FOR BREVITY>

If an item is made by a Grand Master Crafter, the item has slightly better stats, and reduced weight (20%):
                            large sandblasted breastplate (GC)
                            MAGIC ITEM
                            Slot: CHEST
                            AC: 29
                            WIS: +7

                            SV FIRE: +6
                            WT: 5.9 Size: SMALL
                            Class: NONE
                            Race: NONE
                            Slot type 2:empty

The problem with this is that it does not encourage players to buy items made by Tradeskillers with anything less than GM skill. This has the effect of only rewarding those who are current GM's and making learning a tradeskill more costly by removing the resale-to-player value for items made in the process of skilling up.

                              huh ?

Why would you compare morning dew and neriak nectar ?

I would have thought you would compare morning dew and shadow essence .

                                Not even close.

Correct me if i am wrong, but doesn't it take one essence of shadow per piece of Dark Elf Cultural? It is used for the temper right?.

Morning Dew on the other hand are used in every step of High Elf cultural. You need 8.5 morning dew per 3 sheet combine. Considering these are a relatively rare drop off the Brownies, It would take several hours to collect enough for 1 combine.

The High Elf temper requires 1 essence of moonlight and 1 swirling mist. These would be comparable to essence of shadow, but Dark Elf cultural does not have a roadblock even similar to morning dew.
