I'm not convinced its not just a filler line. since he took one item out.
Da Ogre sed:
"the more is just for "poetic pacing" and in itself has no particular meaning. Don't take its lack of meaning as meaning anything either. Don't take this comment as meaning anything."
Pretty big concept for an ogre that "poetic pacing" but I digress...
What I believe he is saying is that the new line was inserted to cover a removed line. Hes saying the more was mearly part of the poem and that it is still part of the recipie. (see below)
The way its written:
More of the draft that carries you on
Make the ones you ride slippery and stinky
Now probally the more dosnt mean anything. However a horse can be a draft horse, and it can carry you on. Making it slippery probbaly means buttered, and stinky (so like an ogre on this one.) is presumably garlic. Thats the best bet so its probally one or two Garlic Buttered Horse meat.
I think yer way off base on the boot Beer. Then a gain it could be some sort of beer based sauce as well. But it dosnt look that way to me.

I quit the game I loved because it wasn't anymore. Guilds allowing farmers in because they could do a lot of damage in raids.
SoE not really doing anything about farmers, macroquesters ect.
Still Some of my favorite times spent online happened in Norath. The friends and mobs I remember fondly.

I have the text from Elegant Pates on my site.
Just mash it all up and cook it with some brandy, spices and plant shoots.

Edited by Angelsyn: You repeated the same ingrediants list twice... did you mean to?
Edited by Daine: First one uses grilled cragbeast/hynid meat and the second one uses grilled cragbeast/hynid steaks. They are different recipes!Last edited by Daine; 04-25-2006, 08:37 AM.Nature Goddess Daine Thornytree of the Dilidruids

Don't Repeat.... Nothing in the recipie is used twice?
I tried earlier to make a turepta pate with the normal recipie, dnc. Did anyone ever try with Turepta Meat? (I'm kind of in agreement with an earlier post, why is the Liver the only thing that doesn't stack in the recipie? - assuming it is in the recipie) Unfortunately I gave away the plant shoot I had, they seem rather uncommon on Bertox.
It might be time to take another look at some of the ingredients that we haven't been sure about. I'm not sure about everyone else, but the ones I feel solid on are the Garlic-Buttered Horse Meat, Nest Drake Sausage, Treant Sausage, Darkhollow Basilisk Sausage, Grilled Hynid Meat and Grilled Cragbeast Meat.
I'm pretty comfortable with the idea that the Water/Sea dragon meat is interchangable and is used in its "raw" form since there's no referance to preparation method, and Ngreth did make comments regarding drop rates/locations/spawnings (fixing Fay). However that could have been just a slight derailment of the thread, and actually have no bearing on the recipie.
So for me the question marks are the Apothecary and the Draft.
The apothecary of one with a shell:
In the other recipie the apothecary (mixed so well) called for Dryad Pate. This recipie doesn't call for mixing, but that could have been omited due to poetic flow. So its either the Pate of something shelled, or the "raw" liver/Meat?/"Guts?" of something shelled. Turepta, Regrua, Crab, Turtle, Crawdad, Tortoise, Underbulk, Shik'nar, various beetles...
More of the Draft that Carries you on. (or to eliminate confusion, or so we hope, regarding poetic flow: The Draft that Carries you on)
Horse, Pegasus, Unicorn, Boar (don't forget the clockwork boar and the real boars in Tactics), Drogmor, Something that fits Draft (air, drink, potion, measure, work animal), something that fits being carried on (levitating, riding, lifting). I know alot of people are arguing that this is a meat recipie so there won't be anything else in it, but the cheeses had a Pate, and (if you want to get really technical) the Vegetables had a fruit, so there could be something non-meat that is included, either a sauce (drink/potion/dressing) or a method of holding them together (sausage, wrap, platter, basket)
I'll try some combines later tonight, and post the DNCs.

One thing to remember...
He specifically got Faydedar's (or however you spell that stupid Dragon's name) pathing fixed in reference to this recipie.
That makes it an almost certainty that she drops the (whatever) Dragon Meat that we need for part of this recipie.Angelsyn Whitewings, Cleric of Tunare for 66!Seasons.
