Unfortunately I made all of my Regrua claws into buckets of crab legs before I thought to try one there. I'll have to go back to water and see if I can't farm a couple more.

I also realized after I stashed everything on my mule that unlike the Cragbeast/hynid portion, there's nothing that says the two horse items have to be prepared as much, or into the same end result (tho I still think either meat or steaks are the viable choice) - could be Beer-braised horse kabobs and garlic butter horse meat for all we know.

There are 10 ways to prep the meat:
Barbequed, Beer-battered, Beer-braised, Buttered, Dried, Garlic-buttered, Grilled, Lemon-buttered, Smoked and Spiced

the 2 Beer ones make sense because of the "draft", Grilled makes sense because it is basic, and there aren't any real instructions on how to prep it


And 8 finished products (keeping in mind it could just be XYZ Horse Meat)
Jerky, Kabobs, Pie, Sandwich, Souffle, Soup, Steaks, Stew (Plus 3 omlettes and sausage for the Grilled version)

Steaks make the most sense, maybe Kabobs (handy skewer to carry them on), or sausage since we've seen 3 others in the recipie so far.

Giving up on it for now.. I'll try some again tomorrow.

We already know that we can Grill the Treant Hearts and make Sausages... Is it possible to make the beer-braised/Garlic-buttered etc as well? And if so has anyone tried to make one of those into something like Grilled Treant Heart Rolls?

Since he's verified that nothing is raw then Turepta Liver alone won't work and we know the traditional pate recipe won't work. I have 5 Livers so will try some combines on those but only have one Treant heart and still no horse meat to do anything with that.

So, there is a recipe for Pate that doesn't use straight brandy but still uses plant shoots. Any ideas for new brandy recipes to try?

It was pointed out to me that the Panther Pate recipe still used brandy just with a different name so, I deleted all the attempts with various alcohols.

Ok.. So that means its Sea, and/or Water dragon Steaks, and that its not the Turepta Liver until we can find a recipie.

I tried to make Treant Rolls last night:

Grilled/beer-battered Treant Veggies + batwing in an oven (followed the recipie for tuna/crab, both were DNC. I tried the regular treant heart + Batwings/giant wasp wing/seaweed a while back I think, with no success, so it's pretty much got to be the sausage.

So in essence, we now know
Sea/Water dragon Steaks
Treant Sausage
DH Basilisk Sausage
Nest Drake Sausage (although this being non-flagged still raises questions)

Not quite sure which on (by + I mean it or a further combine)
Grilled Hynid Meat+
Grilled Cragbeat Meat+
Garlic Buttered Horse Meat+
*edit - after re-reading Ngreth's post, I'm pretty sure that these three (and the 2nd horse) are all steaks, or one of the other final combines.

Which leaves us a bit in the dark regarding the apothecary, and the second horse ingredient.

Guess its time to try some turepta liver combines, anyone have a cracked regrua meat to try the pate recipie on before I go hunting in PoW?

If you look at the recipes from the initial launch of GoD, crab and tuna could be made into rolls, not hynid nor cragbeast.

Horse meat and Treant hearts, as far as I can tell, are following the gameier meat path.

Hence, you can make horse kabobs, but not horse rolls. But you can make tuna rolls but not tuna kabobs.

Sadly, horse meat and treant hearts are not easy to come by on my server, and I am still having a hard time justifying buting 7-8 horse meat to attempt all the different recipes of Garlic Buttered not to mention the 70 some odd other combinations of sauce and food.

I had another thought (big surprise ) - The dryad pate (apothecary mixed) was dryad meat, mixed up with stuff.. so it doesn't really have to be a liver/organ (just makes more sense). Armadillo meat is used to make Armadillo Simmer Ale (currently unflagged) using meat and a husk (shell). The meat of one with a shell - the meat of one, with a shell... just kinda made sense. Also had the thought of maybe a soup (chicken soup is every mothers cold rememdy, and an apothecary is the dispenser of medicines...).

I'll try some more later, maybe after Ngreth's next hint.. I think I'm trying to be too creative, probably something more simple .
