Heh, figures something like that would happen :P. Least we know now, hope it's fixed soon, so we can start banging our heads against the garden again.

          Is This Normal?

Is it normal to have to desperately cast about for possible recipes, instead of SOE simply telling us about them? What percentage of all the recipes listed here had to be found purely by trial and error, with no in-game recipe books, no hints from SOE, et cetera?

While all recipes currently require items to be unstacked, is it possible this new recipe is different and may require a full stack of veggies?

A great many were that way long ago. Ah, the wonderful time of non stackable pelts and silks, no message to tell you if you'd gotten the recipe right or not, either way the stuff would POOF leaving you wondering if you failed or didn't get the recipe right. This site was desperately needed back then. Now it's nice and quite convenient but nothing compared to the godsend it once was.
              /em bows to Niami.

Believe it or not it's kinda nice now, even with the occaisional glitch.

Dunno about that, but it turns out that Package of Vegetables went live broken, and you get the does not combine message even if you get the recipe correct...

So we wasted all our effing time on this.

                /sigh

Ok, folks, enough with the dev-bashing. Remember the forum rules, k? It may not be great that it's taken this long for it to get fixed after the patch message announcing them, but watch the tone. Nuff said.

Now, somewhere, somewhen, someone kvetched loudly enough for the devs to hear, that they wanted a buyable way to make veggies, because too many things used them, and not everyone could forage. It's a *minor* thing in the grand scheme of things, and really, truly, not something that deserves all this grumping and whining.

It's fixed on Test, should be live soon. (though the trivial may change)

vendor-bought lettuce, carrot, turnip in a mixing bowl = vegetables. Same stuff as what you forage, stacks with 'em, etc.

No mention of it in the patch message. Hopefully it went in, along with the ice cream churn tokens.

Nolrog posted somewhere that the Ice Cream Churn token was on a to-do list, but wasn't expected to be done this patch

So al those veggies I have been saving from my forages for someday are now vendor-buyable.

Serves me right for not being greedy when I had the chance to sell them.

EDIT: On the other hand, this is very nice for the community, so grats!
