Aye, I did check the UI for a trivial. I currently have a baking skill of 200, so unless it's a stupidly high combine, i don't think it's in there until we've done the combine.

I was thinking the same thing as Darkdoll when i saw the patch info. Ok heres the line:
Added a recipe for players to create a package of vegetables.*

Since I cant forage my eyes lit up and automatcially assumed this was a recipe to make veges for non-forage classes. Lets just say for now it is.

If this is a recipe to CREATE its logical that the ingredients are non-foraged as well. Wouldnt be any help if one had to forage the ingedients.
Since vegetables are more than one vegetable it must be a mix of certain vendor bought ingredients? Or maybe those washed veges in PoK.

These are just my thoughts but i could be totally wrong. i will be eager to find out since this is quite a puzzle.
Present baking skill <226> sso these would make baking fun and affordable
(On Xev veges are 200p a stack or more)

Perhaps we should figure out who requested this. That would tell us precisely what it is. Then figuring out how to make it would at least be narrowed down a bit.

A substitute for foraged veggies would be good...maybe they got tired of their foraging toons fleecing everyone...or maybe they just want to let us bundle up veggies so we can buy more at once, allowing the fleecing to increase geometrically.

Are we going about this the wrong way perhaps?

Miller Carrot - foraged in West Karana
Frost Turnip - foraged in Everfrost
Speckeled Toadstool - foraged in Innothule
Plant shoot - foraged in Jaggedpine
Black Root - foraged in Misty
Cactus Pulp - foraged in North Ro
Bamboo Shoot - foraged in Stonebrunt

Oddly that most of these are 'old world' and only one or two other expansion zones would have a foraged item that we would find at a local store in a "packaged vegetables"?

            This could take some time...
(Might also be an attempt to bring back popularity to the 'old world' zones)...

My understanding is that players requested an alternative to foraging for getting vegetables.

Might be a long shot, but what if 'package of vegetables' is an item with N charges of 'Summon Vegetables', recharged by conmbining it with Washed Veggies or something of that sort?

Tried the following. All DNC. All use the freshly cleaned vegetables, lettuce, turnip, and carrot purchased in PoK.

in Mixing Bowl and Tanaan oven:
freshly cleaned vegetable, lettuce, turnip, and carrot
                freshly cleaned vegetable, lettuce
                freshly cleaned vegetable, turnip
                freshly cleaned vegetable, carrot
                freshly cleaned vegetable, lettuce, turnip
                freshly cleaned vegetable, lettuce, carrot
                freshly cleaned vegetable, turnip, carrot

                in Tanaan oven:
                1 - 10 freshly cleaned vegetable
1 - 9 freshly cleaned vegetable, silk thread
1 - 9 freshly cleaned vegetable, silk cord
freshly cleaned vegetable, lettuce, turnip, carrot, silk thread
freshly cleaned vegetable, lettuce, turnip, carrot, silk cord

                in mixing bowl:
1-3 freshly cleaned vegetable, silk thread
1-3 freshly cleaned vegetable, silk cord
                lettuce, turnip, carrot, silk thread

If it was a tinkered item (which I *think* is what you're suggesting here?), it most likely would have had lore included with it. . . like the book that came with the collapsed distillery, ice cream churn, etc.
If it's a dropped item....entirely possible, but ye would think SOE would have said something along those lines, instead of letting us bang our heads against the wall trying to figure out a recipe for an item for which our only clue is the name of it.

Don't forget the abysmal sea vegetables: hot and sweet peppers, onion, and garlic.

Out of those only the garlic has a tradeskill flag.

Maybe we should ask Nalwena for help.

Just a thought but wasn't there some discussion at one point regarding the foks at EQtraders having the information, but due to community opinion let the players discover things on their own except those instances where there was a gap (i.e. no recipe book).

From the patch message it looked like this wasn't meant to be terribly complex, but it seems like it's not real obvious either. Is this combine working live at the moment?

I believe that was for certain recipes from the OoW expansion. It was posted by Niami I believe, or from those that were in beta, and able to discover the recipes before it went live for the rest of us.

According to the tailoring UI Window, There is a Compressed Backpack. Maybe this is used for the veggie recipie? Dunno, I cannot check b/c it required a backpack and I have yet to find out how to put a container inside another container, even by just clicking combine in the hopes it does it says I am missing a backpack. Oh well.

This wasn't one of the Omens recipes, so wasn't one we had access to.

However, folks have been driving themselves berk with this long enough, so I submitted a whimper. After some checking around, it looks like the recipe is bugged, so even if someone stumbled on the right combination, it'd be a DNC right now. It's being looked into.
