compulsive buff beggars

As a Shadowknight who can summon, I get requests for it, but they really mean rez. I ran to KC once for someone who agreed to pay (thinking, OK it is lower level, but with the mix of live and undead hard to drag), and saw the bodies neatly piled at the zone in.

At least the bodies were close enough to see before I blew my pp on the coffins.

My level 63 Huntress gets asked for ports and Pot9 all the time. She always has either her Swiftwind or her bow equipped, her title is Huntress, she dual-wields, she wears chain...I could see mistaking her for a rogue - but not a druid. Of course, all halflings must be druids, in the minds of buff beggars, though.

And the first 3 times I raided with my guild, I kept getting asked if I was a shaman. (How many halfling shamen have you seen?)

Hehe, I had someone think my wizard was a druid. She and a friend wanted a boot to CS, and since there were two of 'em, why waste 2 portal fragments on separate punts? I grouped and ported them. I also always have O'Keils Levity up, a wizzie welf-levi/damage shield, so I was floating.

When we arrived, they asked me for SOE.

I'm a dark elf in dark robes, so of course I made an assumption and said, "Sorry, only druids can cast that."

She said, "Oh. You aren't a druid? You came with us on the port. I didn't think wizards did that."

I got a tell requesting a port to west commons the other day. The guy was right near me in east commons, and was quite surprised when I informed him that it was the next zone over...

He just knew that there was no book or wizard spire to get there...

Chanter_01 shouts "KEI for donations, send tell"
Chanter_02 shouts "Improving your mind (KEI) by the Nexus stone"
Chanter_03 shouts "Accepting donations near the PoT portal for C3"
Dorkface_01 shouts "Any KEI?"

That's gotta be annoying, but also keep in mind people zone in and out of PoK fairly often, so there is a good chance they missed your last /ooc

My personal buffing pet peeve is someone will donate for a buff then for a week following they track me down to buff them ... it's not a gym membership for #@#$'s sake.
