What's the point then? You either carry stacks of knives or stacks of sheet metal, it doesn't save you anything.

Presumably it works like Anizok's Gauze press, summons a stack not a single, if so then you get 400 throwing knives per stack of sheet metal.
If it isn't then yes, seems to be not much point to it.

Lucy has it summoning a single knife.

Oh sorry, forgot to tell you that it does indeed summon a stack of throwing knifes, so it does indeed make a total of 400 per stack of sheet metal, and a fully charged device

*phew* I was worried they'd made an oversight on that. Thanks for the clarification

Is the range of the daggers really only 45? Pretty useless item then, sadly

rogues can assasinate with a dagger thrown from behind. Other than that (and even that, really) yeah, pretty useless.

So I take it you won't be asking me to make you one up then Boom?

                      Thanks for sharing Irisette!

                      Piting, you were so close...

Sorry to see the utility of this device is not worth the effort.

Indeed, thank you for discovering the recipe (and congratulations!). My tinker has been fortunate enough to make two of these so far. I'm not sure why some of you are condemning it as useless though... Although an /ooc in PoK yielded no response at all, the two highest rogues in my guild (level 66 and level 53) were both absolutely DELIGHTED to be gifted with one.

It's all in how you play, and there's more than one way to skin a cat.

I agree with Kemie! I made one and gave it to one of the rogues in my guild (a gnome of course ). He was very pleased to have it!

Yes I was, and someone (Zuklaak) did suggest trying with other mana batteries...

P.S. Zmatil, no, I don't think I'll be asking for one for myself. I may end up getting one for Rose for her birthday though, I think she'd like it.

Has anyone here tried to use the knives made by this?

Just noticing the range is 45 according to posts, when I tried to use a 50 range throwing item earlier today I was too close to throw it, but when moved back I was too far away, effectively meaning the item couldn't be thrown.
