I try to make a rough approximation of the number of othmir furs I'd need to go from 252 to 295.
I made the following calculation, let me know if I make mistakes, the sum at the end kinda shocked me
:
int is at 415 for those calculations.
252-262 :
**low range : doing Othmir Fur Cap, calculator indicates a skilling up rate of 6.34% at 252 so (262-252)/6.34% = 158 combines X 2 furs per combine = 316 furs at best
**high range : I take the skilling succes rate at skill level = trivial level -1 = 262-1 =261 =>5.62% => 356 furs
262-268 :
**low range : doing Othmir Fur Moccasins, calculator indicates a skilling up rate of 5.54% at 262 so (268-262)/5.54% = 108 combines X 3 furs per combine = 324 furs at best
**high range : I take the skilling succes rate at skill level = trivial level -1 = 268-1 =267 =>5.14% => 351 furs
268-295 :
**low range : doing Othmir Fur Cloak, calculator indicates a skilling up rate of 5.06% at 262 so (295-268)/5.06% = 533 combines X 4 furs per combine = 2132 furs at best
**high range : I take the skilling succes rate at skill level = trivial level -1 = 295-1 =294 =>2.98% => 3624 furs
so, low range = 2772 and high range is 4331
the mean is at 3551....
do i missed something somewhere or is that number close to what reality could be (the more I think about it the more reality becomes a freaking nightmare

but anyway, who should feel the most guilty, the one who slaughter effectivly or the one who gives the indirect "order" to do it ....pretty philosophical question

. Othmirs and Velium might be horrible, but at least they DROP. Holgresh is something I would rather not think about much anymore.
Even for a necro with full AA and 8+k mana etc etc...PoN is a tuff camp(to solo)-cant be snared or rooted-hit hard and always come in twos and area is a mess of traps. Not a difficult camp as such, diffcult part is convinceing a cleric and a slower that spending 400 hours there is a good return on there time and effort. NAS is actually a very cost effective way to Skillup plat wise-time wise, NAS drops more or less like othmir only is pita camp. There is another option I dream about constantly. Kod'a Taz, now that, in theory, is a dream camp. Great xp, drops need are COMMON, dogs and lizards really dont have a lot of hp, course they make up for it by hitting like freight trains. IS soloable(for certain classses). Whats the downside you might ask
