  • April 23 patch message

    In todays patch message:

    - Acrylia Caverns, Hollowshade Moor and Grimling Forest have been revamped. We have updated the content in these zones to more accurately represent their design intentions and to address concerns voiced by players.

now, we just need to see if that means they have actually fixed it.

      or even....

it would be even nicer if they made all camps drop substances

Well, considering they revamped the zone (as well as others), perhaps they just made the war happen more often or removed it altogether.

I don't care which method they chose to fix it, I just hope it really is fixed! Even if they ended the war and just left each group at their own camp, that would work, but they'd have to make it so the substances dropped OTHER than on the islands.

Since shadowscream is part of the progressive quests that are only open to Vah Shir, the following changes have been implemented:

              - The forge next to the supply sergeant has been designated "vah shir cultural forge"
              - Shadowscream armour may now only be combined in the cultural forge
              - to compensate for the removal of shadowscream as a skill up path, windstones have been added to mini-boss loot tables in Vex Thal.

              KIDDING!

*laughs* Since my smith IS a Vah Shir, your post didn’t have nearly the same effect on me as it might have on others. :P

From what i see so far the sides are constantly attacking so things on the isles change pretty quickly. so it sounds like owlbears wont be up forever until a reset anymore or something.

                            changes

I suspected they would increase the attack rate and its probably squared so that only 1 attacker will happen at a time. Most likely it goes in a rotation. Ill post more with actual facts soon as I'm headed there for a while.

Let's hope it doesn't become too easy. Part of the reward of smithing I found was the difficulty in achieving GM status, I'd hate to see that disappear. The whole farming Hollowshade and manipulating the war (often against other smiths ) was the biggest part of the challenge and often the part many failed at. Would hate to see smithing turn into one of the "easy" tradeskills. Please post findings as I hate going back to that god forsaken zone.
