Enchanted Velium Bits ??

As of this morning (11-9) on Druzzil Ro, the merchant that sells both Enchant Velium and the Coldain Velium Tempers was up. This was at 8:00 a.m. EST in the morning but I can not confirm if he is still up as we speak. The Coldain Velium Temper's price was still bugged and it still costed nothing to buy them.

Exploit?

I don't think I was describing an exploits, I only suggest an idea as to why the vendor was back on Druzzil server that morning. I have yet to hear if my idea is even pausible under SOE programming. If it is great, then its not our fault as players for a stupid program bug. If its not then we have to wait 3-4 weeks until the next month's patch to be able to use it for skillups in either tailoring or smithing.

I hope they dont kill the skill up path with this item. In the mean time Ill be loading up on velium while its available. If it doesnt get nerfed then I'm good to skill a while if it does then WTS LOTS of velium pieces!!

I wonder why the temper went to a zero price. You'd think they could adjust it without bringing every server down.

I wasn't describing an exploit either. I was just commenting on a way to get the buy the spells again. I could care less about tempers being free. I just want to be able to buy the enchant velium spell again.

They could easily fix this by bringing down Thurg on all servers. Just remove the tempers from his inventory. But they are lazy, hence our discussion of alternatives.

Yes. You yourself were not telling about the exploit, but you were publisizing a way that exploiters can get their exploit back. Maybe not for that reason, but it is still there.

We just do not want to be involved with that exploit in any way on these boards.

As of 8:00 am EST Friday Mornin, Nimren Stonecutter is up and no longer sells Coldain Velium Tempers on Fennin Ro server. Enchant velium scrolls are as normal but i stocked up just to make sure. This may be how they decided to 'fix' it and just make players brew their own.

Also confirming, He is UP on Ayonae Ro. He is not selling the tempers. Hope everyone got some while the getting was good. Looks like your going to be brewing for awhile.

THIS is their fix? Remove them from the merchant entirely? I had the morals not to fill every single mule I had with free temper, and now the people who stocked up on thousands of them get to gouge prices in Bazaar?
