Enchanted Velium Bits ??

What can you do with these? Can you turn them in for any kind of faction? Coin? Experience? I'd just hate to have to destroy them.

They're used in the new oracle quests... and no drop so unless you doin the quest yourself, they're worthless to you.

I fell asleep at my keyboard last night before I could do the 63 combines I finally got set up. Was making coldain tempers, got half way through, fell asleep.

I hope like hell they don't drop the trivial on this, or I'm REALLY going to be peeved!

Once the servers come back up, please re-test this combine and post your trivial findings. I believe the trivial will not be modified, but it's better to check.

Just did the combines (10 of them) and while I did not get a skillup, I did not receive a trivial message upon success at smithing 209.

Trivial changed? Earlier report said NOT trivial at 209 (post patch)...then trivial at 213. If they were going to nerf it, why drop if from 222 to the 210ish range??

Can we get any more confirmations of it being trivial before 222?

The trivial report in the teens was my fault, I forgot to toss in the enchant velium spell, so therefore I had made velium bits. sorry about that, trivial is still probably 222 since I'm currently at 216 and still farming velium.

coldain tempers

the coldain velium temper's got bugged on the vendor with the patch and were selling for 0pp 0gp 0sp 0cp.

and since then the vendor has been depopped on all servers

I bet they are rasing the price of the spell and they fugged up doing it. I would expect the price of the spell to triple at least... least I got SOME skillups out of it but not enough

Makes me wish that I had money to burn... but I don't. My bank account is gasping for air at around 4k, and that's probably the most I've ever had at one time, at least money that wasn't a gift from higher-level friends.

I'm sticking with SS... though velium might not be so bad for a couple of skill points if I start seeing lesser shades in my sleep or something, and if I have 3-4k that I can't think of what to do with.

I can confirm that the trivial is NOT 213 -- I got to 214 today on enchanted velium bits. (I think you're right and you forgot to add in the spell).

He had spawned this morning after the server reset last night, but I apparently logged in just after the servers came up, so it might just be that they hadn't yet gotten around to despawning him again.

But the kicker -- the CVTs were still free.

I was mostly just happy, though, that I could get my hands on Enchant Velium spell scrolls to make enchanted velium bits from the CVTs and velium I already had...
