I am selling all the BP and Legs for 500pp each on Saryrn. Someone else had them priced at 200 each (glare) but 500 seems perfectly reasonable, and that's as low as I'll go. I'm fairly sure I could get more if I waited, but I want to move it fast. Put one BP and one Greaves of each type on trader, and banked the rest. No point in flooding the market, eh? It drives me cuckoo when people put 15 BPs for sale on a trader. Grrrr.

2 aug slots on these items means they can be made into pretty darn nice items. Besides, I got 5 skillups off 27 combines last night, so they can rot and never sell! (deliriously happy) I've already broken even, am now sitting at 209 skill, and have 2 stacks of ethereal bricks for skillpoint 211 & 212. I'm feelin lucky!

Sure wish this option would have been available before I spent 50 hours in Hollowshade over the last few months.

I just put up a mess of breastplates, greaves, gauntlets, helms, and vambraces up for sale. Will report on any sales.

        Good old stormhammer.

Sold a couple pieces of calcified chain, no shandblasted BPs (sigh, they look good to me), and I found one of the PoK smithing dwarf vendors with EVERY type of LDoN plate bracer and collar, all sizes, and I'm not going to try and buy it out (I tried the gothic, he had 4-5 of those).

My tradermule will look nice in sandblasted plate I guess :/

Although it's not "rocket science" I have found a way to make some plat on this stuff. On my server it seems those who are skilling and selling at cost are at least sticking to a specific piece. So there are tons of BPs going at cost so I'm not making them but I keep looking for pieces with little competition. It's ironic but I can see a stck of Frosted BPs selling for 100 pp and not moving and put up a couple of Frosted Legs and Arms and sell the legs for maybe 800 and arms for 500 with no problem.

As reported biggest seller is Sandblasted (not BPs tho as market flooded) and frosted is going surprisingly well too. I have sold pieces of just about all lines at some point.

I had an entire trader full with breastplates, arms, helms, vambraces, and gauntlets up for a couple days and very little was selling. The few pieces that were selling were mostly gothic and sandblasted.

Then I thought of something: it's kind of hard sorting through a trader with twenty greaves, twenty helms, twenty vambraces, etc.

So I went and vendor-sold almost my calcified and deep cavern stuff, which was not selling anyway. Then I put a few calcified and deep cavern things on one trader (I have two accounts) and put only gothic, sandblasted, and frosted items, reducing my stock from 70 items to 36 and put the armor-only trader up last night.

As of this morning I am down to 18 items. I have not sold any frosted (which I have offered in all three sizes) but I have sold out of the four gothic BPs I had, as well as a few greaves, vambraces, and a helm. No gauntlets sold.

My pricing is modest without (hopefully) killing the market, and as a result sales are brisk.

One hint I have not seen others thinking about, at least on Inny: never bother making sandblasted items in large sizes. There are no wisdom-caster big race plate classes.

I am on Inny as well, and I have probably sold 20 bracers at 100p each. Mainly Gothic and Sandblasted. They sell very quickly, probably 4 to 6 a day.

It's nice to be skilling at a profit.

                  In my own exp.

As to the peps asking if you should price differently based on stats, It is entirely up to you. Personally i never change my prices on items that take the same to create. I do alot of Ogre cultural work on Karana server and have the same prices for pieces with similar combos. BP's and Leggs each take 3 sheets, Bracers, Boots each take 1 sheet and i do not change the prices based on the stats, i sell BP's for the same as legs, bracers for the same as boots, and all other pieces that use a specific number of sheets at a set price. I have yet to sell any of the LDoN armors though i have a few gothic bps and legs and plan on trying for 500pp max. In my opinion, varying prices based on stats can be difficult at best because not everyone thinks the same way and the stats that caused you to raise the price on one piece may mean nothing to the person who is looking to buy a new piece of armor. I have always felt that if it costs close to the same to make, just charge the same.

                    So far I've sold:

                    @ 500p
                    2 Small Gothic Steel Greaves

                    @250p
                    2 Small Gothic Steel Vambraces
                    3 Small Gothic Steel Pauldrons
                    1 Small Gothic Steel Helmet
                    2 Small Gothic Steel Boots
                    2 Small Gothic Steel Bracers
                    1 Small Gothic Steel Girth
                    3 Small Gothic Steel Visors
                    1 Small Gothic Steel Collar
                    1 Small Sandblasted Steel Visor
                    1 Small Frosted Steel Collar

I've kept a full suit of gothic on my trader most of the time but usually only one of each piece. Lots of people seem to be selling the BP and leggings (I stopped making legs when I saw the price drop below 300p - I must have been only one selling when I sold mine) but no one else on Bristlebane seems to be bothering with the lower pieces.

Watch your bazaar for a couple days - the same few people are selling and most are selling only certain pieces. Fill in the holes and it will sell.

I did notice that the SKs who have bought from me are going for the gothic over the frosted for the most part so if/when I sell the rest of the frosted pieces I made, I may not replace them.

                      ~20p for BP Plate Mold
~60p for 3 Folded MQ Sheets
~0p to 10p for Tempers from vendors, foraging & drops (I dont buy from bazaar)

roughly 90p per attempt and i sell for 250p... a 277% to 315% profit magin is not bad in my book. I could sell it for more, but I make more money selling at reasonable prices than outrageous prices and letting it sit in my inventory forever. im happy and the purchaser is happy.

I always ask for temper components in LDoN since no one else asks for them and i can also forage about 5-6 per dungeon.

On Innoruuk, traders xxxxx and xxxxx are now selling LDoN smithed junk below cost.

                        Oh well .

                        Edit: removed the names, hehe.

If the LDoN smithed armors are selling to vendors at near or even above cost, depending on the type, why not buy it from them and sell it to the vendors? You can push the price back up into a profitable range... (in fact, I will be looking up the vendor sell price either in a list or testing them all myself the next time I work on armors, now that you mention this. )

I think it sells TO a merchant at about half cost and can be bought FROM an NPC merchant right about at cost to make (asuming no failures).

LDoN plate sells for about the cost of a padding lower than cost assuming free tempers.

Cedir, please delete the names, I'd like to keep this thread open.

Dropped sandblasted BPs to 900pp, sold one. I've moved about half the Calcified chain at 40-100pp a pop.

And I don't think SKs will touch the frosted (all int right?). Most of the class tends to take a tank first, cast second attitude.

I like the bracers. I'll have to see about selling a few now.

I might pick up some frosted plate later, for a tradeskill suit. I'll need to do a piece by piece comparision against sentient first, though.

But I agree, most smart SKs (and other tanks) will go for gothic first, out of all the LDoN plate.
