Does anyone know what skill level you need to do these combines...I got a failed combine on Ruinic Parchment Solution and I have a 187 in research atm.

I'm having problems with mana oriented spells in general. I have been trying to make the lvl 63 enchanter spell Tranquility (among others). Lucy says:

1: Increase Mana Pool by 260
2: Increase Mana by 16 per tick
3: Increase INT by 26
4: Increase WIS by 26

So my combine was:

Velium Parchment +
Ink Additive of the Nameless +
Quill of the Coercer +
Talisman Thickener (group buff) +
Ink of the Erudite +
Ink of the Dal +
Ink of Prexus

DNC. I have a nagging suspicion that Prexus does NOT cover +mana effects from the recipes I've tried. I'm guessing it's only for manapool spells not +mana regen.

I thought tranq was a targetted spell? Anyhow, someone posted a recipie confirmed for voq, I would assume it would be similar, I recall there were two of one of the inks, prexus I believe.

The solution was somewhere around 245ish, the combines themselves are supposed to be in the 350ish range for runics.

I think they were asking for trivial of the parchment cleaning only, not the spell itself. That's what I understood those trivials to represent. I'm happy to be wrong ,but I think that's where the question was directed.

If you really have to make two 351 skill combines per 65 spell...that's a bit rough.

Fine Vellum Parchment Solution....the # is blurred, but since it is a "blue con" and the poster's skill shows as 202 in that screenshot, it must be a trivial > 203....

Runic Parchment Solution ...trivial 243

You must add whatever reagent is needed to cast the spell. In this case it is bone chips.

i tried adding bone chips, and got DNC again...
besides they never said reagens is needed in a combine

was this a joke?

anyone have a sudgestion how to make a pet spell?

one thing... check lucy...

some of the pet spells have resists on them for whatever reason :/ so it MAY not be ink of the nameless.

In order for a sense of discovery by the players I will NOT be giving out recipes wholesale.

I will periodically help people along with finding problems with their combines, and maybe after a while start putting some random weird ones up.

Necro Pet Spell - Saryn's Companion - level 63

Try this....

Vellum parchment

ink of the companion

-Saryn's ink additive instead of The Nameless, Lucy says the spell checks against Poison Resist

-try with & without bone chips

In the pet vein I just tried making Monster Summoning IV. There are two pet spells at 65 but lucy says MS4 is magic resist and Rathe's Son is Disease resist. I tried two different combines:

Runic Parch +
Quill of Arch Convoker +
Ink of Companion +
Conjuring Thickener +
Luclin's Ink Additive +
Malachite

DNC. Adding Highland Sludge Powder and/or removing the malachite didn't work.

I then tried

Runic Parch +
Quill of Arch Convoker +
Ink of Companion +
Conjuring Thickener +
Ink Additive of the Nameless +
Malachite

DNC also. I tried all combinations of adding/removing drying powder and malachite with this one also. I'm stumped.

You might also try using the Sayryns additive instead of the nameless. The spell has that name in it and you never know what SoE may have been thinking.

Combination #1 that you show is the correct one - just get rid of the malachite and it will work. I've already made a few of these.

I'm stumped, trying to make the druid lvl 65 spell Sylvan Infusion:

From everything I can find the recipe should be:

Runic Parchment
Quill of the Storm Warden
Ameliorating Thickener
Ink of Tunare
Ink of the Nameless

I've tried it with each ink seperately, with the drying powder and without, nothing is combining. Any ideas?

Anyone figured out elemental siphon? None of the boards I've checked have it, and I've tried every combination I can think of with no success. Seems like it SHOULD be:

Runic Parchment
Quill of the Arch Convoker
Invigorating Thickener
Ink of Prexus

This just gives me the "you cannot combine" message though. The problem is the spell is fairly unique. It damages the pet to increase your mana regen, so I've tried using Ink of pain instead, and with prexus, as well as arcane thickener and pretty much every combination of those.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
