The ablest enchanters can create vials of purified mana, which would seem to be used in the combine to make Palatable Purified Mana. Is there any way to get the sugar again, short of turning in another Tome of Miragul?

Because I didn't have the 500 plat left over to kill on a combine I had no knowledge on and had some cloudy mana left over from something. The assistant in OoT still refuses to say anything about giving me more sugar and GMs say getting just one sugar with five different combines is "Working as Intended" (tm)

On the robe/tunic is says "Focus Effect: Flowing Thought IV" but on all other FT items it just says "Effect: Flowing Thought #". Kinda odd.

Also saw that there is no Augment slots on the robe/tunic. Smells fake to me.

Ok, folks, we know which six books are involved, we know what the rewards for WIS/INT casters are ... let's take a closer look at the Tradeskill portion which yields the actual Phylactery. Time to fill in some blanks.

Notes: What spell would be needed here? This thing is to contain a soul within, while the Crucible of escape was used to port people; that one uses a Spell: Lesser Succor. Ideas? I was thinking maybe Spell: Sacrifice, as that spell binds a Soul's energy to an object.

Notes: the quest info says the Velium Bits must be enchanted ... or enchanted by the Anchor, depending on how you read it. If it's the first, how would we enchant the Velium Bits?

Also, the filing of the Lids may be done as a second step, instead of being done in the same step that creates the Lids.

Anyone have an idea where the Spiritual Anchor drops? Quest info says Undead Elves. Vampires in Mistmoore?

Step 6 - Heart of the Phylactery
Skill: JEWELCRAFTING
Status: OPEN

Combine: Precious Garnet + Vial of Vampire Blood
Trivial: ???

Notes: I am not sure that the Vial of Vampire Blood is what we're looking for here, but if it is - it's supposed to drop in Mistmoore castle.

Once all 6 items are made, put them in the Decorated Box (a 6-slot container) and hit combine to create the Phylactery.

Notes: I was under the impression that Melees would get a different Phylactery than Hybrids. In the quest info there's nothing that hints at two versions of the Phylactery.

the tradeskill portion might have an item with this castable effect as a result:
illusion: frost bone
this occurs directly _before_ the palatable mana type spells.
i wouldn't be surprised if soul clasp was a worn effect on the item as well.

Spiritual Anchor

The spiritual anchor drops off the "Ghoul of Takish-iz" in Oasis. He was green to 65, and a very easy kill, only loot was the anchor, its a flour, lore, no drop.

Has anyone considered maybe that after we solve the quest initially SoE will implement a way to do it without needing all the no-drop items?

If anyone fails an attempt to make the Palatable mana or any of the later steps as we learn those recipes, please report whether Sea-foam Sugar or other components provided by the Assistant are returned on failure.

Unfortunately, I am still trying to find the Tome of Miragul.

I was doing some poking around in Lucy and think I found the effect that will be on the final result of the tradeskill part. This effect went live the same time as the Paltable mana did and is right after the Paltalbe mana effects in the list....

Hmm - that sounds more like a SK spell than a general melee spell - that would be really great if it's the effect on the general reward item, but if it is, then non-hybrids aren't going to take the time to do this quest.

Cigar there is no melee version of the robe or tunic,that was stated from the beginning.The phylactery's are all/all though.

I'm aware of that - I was refering to the tradeskill reward.

Name on the Miragul tome from the Hole would be what? I haven't heard or seen any definitive answers and have seen a few books from the hole, but the assistant doesn't want either of them (no red text). Anyone actually know the name of the book? Would be appreciated
